I bought these to help my son with Brusing the back of his teeth. My Son's Molars began to come in and his dentist recommended me getting this type of tool to help him brush the back of his teeth. My son is Autistic and brushing his teeth can be very difficult these small dandies make it so easy. The design also makes them so easy to keep clean

Needed these when working with face. They did the job.

My daughter had a tongue tie and lip tie and I use these to do her tongue stretches. My speech therapist uses these same ones too. They’re simple and work great

Silicone is too soft, doesn’t hold mouth open.

These work mostly alright for what I need them for (myofascial exercises). They are all a bit big and are more difficult to use than the styrofoam blocks my therapist gave me, but at least they are washable and can be reused.They do have a fair amount of give, so at least they aren't uncomfortable on the teeth and they don't slide easily.
