I previously owned two similar-sized chairs from WalMart and they have both broken in the last 6 months. They cost me $50 plus tax each. So having two children, ages 3 and 5 (who are both very tall for their age) I needed some replacements that were on the larger side. I chose this chair from Flash Furniture because it was sized similarly (actually just a little bigger) and I am very happy that I did.The chair is constructed far better than the ones I had from WalMart (Urban Juvenile Recliner). They seem much more durable, are far more cushioned, and are heavier. The cup holder is an added bonus. It fits my son's Thermos Funtainer water bottle perfectly. Like a previous review mentioned, these chairs basically look like mini adult recliners. They are covered in vinyl, which might not seem so great to some, but I think it is much better than microfiber or any other cloth covering simply because cleaning is so much easier. For comparison's sake, I also got one of the microfiber recliners from Flash Furniture and I can easily see how that chair, although wonderful as well (especially with the very nice storage arms), could get dirty fast. Greatest gift for a five year old. She loves it! It is just the right size for her to grow into. I was very skeptical about this chair at first, but decided to give it a chance knowing I could return it at no additional cost. My Dad set it up in his living room for a grandchild. When she walked into the living room and saw the red ribbon, she turned to him and said, is that my big girl chair to sit by you? He said yes and she slowly unwrapped the ribbon, sat down, rubbing it and then realized it reclined. She said, it's just my size! Then she noticed it had a cup holder, so she promptly replied, I think something is missing. When he asked what, she said Uh, my drink for the cup holder.I absolutely recommend this chair to all people with children no matter who you are to them!!! You will not be disappointed!She absolutely loves this chair! This chair has brought bonding and a lot of great memories to movie night!The chair was very easy to assemble and is of great quality and will last a long time, if showed how to use it properly.

My 1.5yo daughter loves this chair so much that we found her escaped from her bedroom (which had a closed door...) and in it backward where it was on top of the couch (we pick everything up off of the floor so the Roomba can reach everywhere) after everyone was in bed. It's quite the toddler throne. It's very plush and the leatherette material is soft, supple, and easy to clean. The little cup holder fits any of her sippy cups or a snack. The feet took maybe three minutes to screw on.Something to note is that the foot rest has to be pulled out by hand and does not have any kind of lever on it. This makes the chair slide around if it's not on a carpet, but I'm sure you could buy skid-free pads for the feet if you have all hardwood. We have a rug in our living room so it isn't an issue. It's also possible that it can be opened by leaning on the back of the chair, but my daughter tried that and it didn't work.Also important to consider--my 1.5yo is the perfect size for the chair. My 5yo was almost too big and he is small for his size. I wouldn't suggest this chair to someone with a child older than 5.

Dont have any problems with it. When it came in we only had to put the back on the chair so it was an easy set up

We ordered this chair for our son who is 1 and a half. It is of good build quality and very soft and comfy.It is worth the price it costs. The chair comes fully assembled except for the feet which you screw in with the provided tool. You also have to snap the backrest in place. THAT'S IT! My son likes to climb stuff so he has stood up on this before and it is pretty sturdy, even when he stood up on it and leaned back on the backrest it stayed in place. The cup holder is a little smaller than I like, so most of his sippy cups do not fit well, but we have a couple that do, so it's fine. The foot rest pulls out so the chair can be put into the recline mode. The only reason i am not giving it 5 stars is because I can tell that after a while the foot rest that comes out when in recline mode will get loose over time as it is not spring operated and because I wish the cupholder was a little wider to allow thicker sippy cups. I can see my son using this chair for another 2-3 or even 4 years.

We bought this as a gift for my 1 yo daughter and she LOVED it. It is the perfect size and matches our leather furniture great. It was easy to assemble. Most of the pieces slide/lock together. It is easy to clean as she spills food/drink in it often. The cupholder is a great addition. She loves putting her sippy cup in it while watching movies. She is able to pull the foot rest out on her own and climb in it to sit. We often find her older (5-6 yo) siblings sitting in it as well. We have hardwood floors and it slides easily around the room. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for additional stylish seating for your toddler!
