These saw blades are not “saw” blades. They shred the work.
These saw blades do not “cut”. If you look very closely at the blade edge, the blade teeth have tiny little tails on them. Not a true saw blade. So these blades just shred the work, and wear out exceedingly fast. Not worth it to step down so far in quality.

Good Kit
This kit is for anyone who is going to give their oscillating tool a real workout. If you use your tool a lot, you are better served by getting this kit. I mostly use the wood blades, and you also get the round ones, all with the quick release system. With my workload, this will last a long time.

Great kit for a beginner
I had always considered an oscillating tool to be a bit of a gimmick and not really very useful. I recently had some carpentry work done around my house and the carpenters used these tools for almost everything they did – cutting out sections of rotting wood, cutting details in the wood to go around corners and posts, removing rusty nail heads, cutting metal parts - all without having to take anything apart. I was sold. Then I saw a basic model on sale in a local store, and I just couldn’t resist. The basic oscillating tool I bought was so basic that it didn’t come with any blades. It was a bit of a shock to learn that the blades often cost more than I paid for the tool. I was inexperienced with this type of tool and so was unsure as to what sort of blades I should get. This blade kit addresses those concerns by bringing down the price of each blade significantly and providing a range of different blade types that I could try out. I’m still learning but I feel that the range of blades will cover almost anything I’ll need to do.One concern I had in ordering this kit was that they were apparently designed for a “quick release” tool. Mine was certainly not that and so I was concerned that these blades wouldn’t fit my very basic tool. I needn’t have worried, they fit perfectly on my cheap oscillating tool. OK – I have to use an Allen wrench, but it only takes a minute or so to change a blade. The main worry would be if I lost the Allen wrench 😊Being a newcomer to this type of tool, my expectations weren’t very high. However, on my very first attempt, I managed to saw out a rectangular window from a sheet of fairly hard ½” plywood. OK, it wasn’t perfect, but it was much better than I expected and much better and quicker than the results that I would have got by using a manual coping saw or electric jigsaw. After a bit more practice I think I would be able to get some great looking results.I haven’t yet tried out all the different types of blades in this kit; neither do I have a feel for how long the blades will last. However, they look to be well made and while they may not be quite the quality expected from blades costing 20x more, they look good enough for my purposes. It's much better to practice with cheap stuff than risk ruining the expensive stuff.

Multi tool blades
They feel like good quality. It’s my first time using a multi tool so I don’t know how durable these are yet.

Good value for cutting wood and plastic
I’m using these with a Fein Multi-tool. So far, I’ve only cut wood and drywall. They worked as expected. Amazon listing says you can also cut soft metal. Don’t be misled into thinking all blades in this set can be used to cut metal. Markings on all but two of the saw blades say either “wood” or “wood/plastic.” Only two blades say “wood/metal”. The “wood/plastic” blades are made from carbon steel. The “wood/metal” blades may be bi-metal. I’ve used both genuine Fein blades and after-market blades (e.g., Harbor Freight blades) in the past. I found no difference between the two other than price - neither lasted very long. Bi-metal blades tend to last slightly longer, but not when used to cut metal or nail-embedded wood. I speculate performance of these blades will be very similar to the Fein OEMs and Harbor Freights.Given selling price, I think this set is good value for cutting wood and plastic.

Comparable blades
I recently went to a big box store & got one name brand blade for half the price of this entire box full of different off brand blades. For a 3 pack of those blades, they were more than these blades. I tried them out side by side. The fit is the same. No problem there, easy in/out - hold tight. They cut about the same. I think the name brand started off better, but once in the wood, there was no difference. The blade on these are a hair not as thick. Not sure if that means anything in the long run but I wanted to note that. I did not wear them out/use them for a long time so I cannot comment on the life, however - with all these pieces Im sure that’s a non issue. The addition of measurements on the blade is a cool idea & can be useful. However, I did notice that none of these are marked “metal” they all say wood. I only found this out when I went to cut metal and was disappointed. Yes, I can use a “wood” one but they don’t cut nearly as good or as quick because the teeth are different.Over all - Great product. Great price point. Value for your money. Outside of the misleading “metal” addition to the title, making it an inaccurate description, these aren’t bad blades by any means.
