Honeywell Aube by Honeywell Outdoor Plug-in Timer with Temperature Sensor and photocell Modes (TI062)

I needed an indoor light timer that would control the Christmas tree lights and after looking at many reviews, I selected this model. It is a digital timer, which I wanted, instead of a mechanical one. This means I can program it much more accurately and it makes no noise. But it wasn't a complex timer so it would be easy to set up. Sure enough, when it arrived, I was able to set it up right out of the box within just a couple of minutes without needed to even look at the directions. If you've ever set a digital alarm clock, you should be able to use this timer without any trouble. The setup is easy and intuitive. It works perfect and has the lights turning on and off at exactly the designated time each night.

Great timer! I use this outside and have it encased in a plastic container so it won't get wet. It is awesome. It works great and it's extremely reliable. It's very easy to program too, which is a huge plus. I unplugged it and forgot about it for about an hour and a half, while working on other stuff outside. I plugged it back in and it "remembered" the on and off settings I had originally programmed it to. How awesome is that?

I've only used it a few time, but so far it seems to work just as described. I live in Fairbanks Alaska and I got this for the block heater for the car. It work when it got down to -33 F. The display was a bit messed up when it got that cold but once it warmed up again it was fine; I don't expect any LCD screen to work at temperatures that low anyway. It would be nice if the temperature settings were for lower temperatures, but using timer works great and will help us save some money this winter.

I use this to run my block heater on my diesel truck during cold weather and this thing is great. The various ways you can program it to come on and turn off make setting it up for your situation and preferences easy. Saves you soo much money compared to just plugging the truck straight in and having the block heater on from the time I get home till the time I leave the next day now it just comes on for a couple hours before I leave for work

I purchased this to control the block heater in my 2008 Ford diesel pickup truck. This thing is exactly what I needed - I set it to come on between 3:00 AM and 8:00 AM but only if it's below 38 degrees. It does the job and I don't have to worry about whether to plug the truck at night or not. I just plug it in and forget it - it's ready for me to start every morning.It would also be great for outside lighting as it will turn on/off by daylight as well as the timer. Great purchase and strong enough to be used for industrial uses.

Electronics are very low quality. Worked great for 2 months then stopped working. Stay away. I've had a Coleman outdoor timer that is 3 years old and still running great. I suggest you either go with the Coleman or the Garden Creations, much better made.

VERY GOOD FOR THE PRICE. HAVE OUTSIDE IN WEATHER ( WINTER ) WE WILL SEE HOW WEATHER PROOF AFTER WINTER IS OVER ,OK 2 STARSUPDATE 12/1/2012 ONE CAPED OUT ALL READY WATER INSIDE SCREEN DISPLAY NOT FOR OUTSIDE !!!!!!!! THE ONE INSIDE IS OK.

The timer works well. The programming is not intuitive and requires that manual to program and mounting tap broke as soon as I but a screw in it
