Great replacement pads, although the original had a metal backing plate and these are plastic. I removed my old metal plate and added it to these just for piece of mind. They may be fine without it though. One reviewer said these are not "cushioned" like the originals. That is false! These are cushioned, but with a slightly stiffer cushion, which in my opinion, may be an improvement. The reason my original pad failed was the cushion was too soft and eventually disintegrated. I don't think that will happen with these. This cushion seems much more durable! My only concern is the plastic backing, but I think if you remove the metal plate from the original, scrape what is left of the old pad off, and mount it between the sander and this disk you will have a superior pad from the original. I have used it and it works perfectly for me. I am well pleased!

Works great for my dewalt orbital sander. Specifically: DEWALT Orbital Sander Kit, 5 inch, 3 amp, Corded, 12,000 OPM (DWE6421K) It was easy to use / install, good value since it includes two. Adhesion is AMAZING... the original one had worn so badly that I didn't know what I was missing until I installed this new one!

Fit my Dewalt perfectly. Easy to install

The version I got was the metal version and it seems to be superior to the original (although that's not saying much). I assume the hook and loop layer will eventually separate from the pad (as did the original one), but it's much cheaper. And the metal version doesn't flex as much as the original one either. Overall it feels superior, but I think orbital sander pads in general aren't the most durable.

They fit my DeWalt model and work just fine.

The quality is so much better than the plastic one that I had. I love that I got two in my package it was a great value and since I am always in beast mode I will have an extra on hand. This was so easy to replace it took me less than five minutes to change the hook and loop out. You could use the tip I used or a flat top screwdriver. The new pad has a super tight adhesion with the sanding paper. This made my sander brand new again!

Great replacement part got it fast and better than what it originally came with, and that was a foam base which dry rotted over time….
