Actually worked
Unlike a different product that I purchased, these are actually o rings for garden hoses.It was a little difficult to get the ring over the end of the connector, but that is OK in my opinion (removing the old o-ring took much longer!). A tight fit means that it is more likely to work well. The rings are a suitable thickness, and have not made it difficult to reconnect the connectors. After turning the tap back on to full pressure (we still had decent pressure at the time), no drips were observed. As this was going on to a timed system this was important. With the barrel underneath, no extra water has been observed leaking in to it. Have now replaced several o-rings throughout my system.
