I was originally using some Velcro strips to secure a small soundbar to the underside of my computer desk but after a couple of weeks the adhesive on the strips would loosen causing the soundbar to fall. After this happened three times I decided to try something a bit stronger and picked up this mounting tape. I used two 3" strips on either end of the soundbar and it's remained properly mounted on my desk this entire time. It hasn't fallen off once. Granted it's only about a 1-1.5lb soundbar but still, this stuff is waaaay better than Velcro

Appears to be a good productHowever, I wanted something to glue down wood trim on the floor and it doesn't work for that applicationNot the vendors or product's failure; but a poor purchasin decision by me.

I had 2 small, lightweight items to secure to the ceiling. Both fell off almost immediately, despite the "30 lb" claim for this tape! In addition, it was almost impossible to separate the clear strip from the sticky part, once tape was applied to ceiling and also the light and vent. I used TWO strips for added "stick" and thickness. neither held for even 5 minutes. DO NOT BUY THIS TAPE. IT IS GARBAGE. Spend the extra money for a 3M or Gorilla product. This tape will not adhere to metal OR sheet rock.

I tried using Gorilla tape in a situation where the tape is always exposed to water. The tape is stuck on two smooth surfaces but one is not as smooth as the other. The surface with a small texture is where the sticky factor did not work out. I think the product is good and would be great if used on glass or other very smooth surface. For my application I will have to try something esle.

This tape is extremely durable and will definitely adhere and hold something that has some weight to it. I used it on concrete and had no problems.

This tape is absolutely amazing!!! The double sided tape is exactly as described, highly recommended.

I needed to mount a security camera somewhere that I could not easily access.I screwed the camera's mount to a small piece of wood (actually a free wood sample from B&Q about the size of a large drinks coaster), I then attached this tape to the back of the wood in a diagonal manner and stuck it directly on the stonework outside my house. It wasn't an incredibly flat surface so I thought it wouldn't stay attached.Well it did stay attached - for many months, I only took it down due to moving.I have taken the tape to my new house and stored it in my garage just incase. I would now trust this product given my experience with it.

Needed strong adhesive to mount a comm unit onto my helmet, and only had 1 problem: Velcro. I didn't want that fuzzy stuff glued to the bucket and constantly come off and brushed against.Heard of 3M making double-sided adhesive strips but decided since this is in a wider roll I'll stick to this.150 on the highway and the thing won't budge a millimeter! Super strong and almost invisible once properly mounted!
