I bought this because it looked like the lowest priced among the Lopchu Golden Orange Pekoe available. I should have known better as soon as i opened the packet. The leaves were a dark greenish brown and not the dark brown-black look i am accustomed to seeing in Lopchu GOP black tea. Furthermore, there were fewer of the long, curled leaves and more of the lower grade, cut up pieces and dust. I think they call it fannings. The initial cups i brewed had very little of the Lopchu taste and aroma. Finally, by adding double the amount of tea leaves normally required, i was able to get a reasonable cup of tea with the Lopchu smoky, muscatel aroma. So in the end, lower price offset by having to use more tea per cup.

This is my second purchase from the same category of tea. This one is my absolute favourite. 100% black tea that is power packed with antioxidants. It is all made of natural tea leaves and I loved the packaging of it.

recently tried surajmukhi black tea and I have to say that it has a unique taste one thing I appreciated about this tea was it versality it was perfect for both morning and evening and it is also paired well with snacks and meal overall a good purchase.
