Loved it
My first book by Ronald Rohlheiser. So easy to follow along. Able to break things down in an easy to read fashion. Loved it.

A dose of grace to this first time mama
I am sure some people would be more critical of the contents of this book but I for one found it truly a dose of grace. What I love about this book is that it shows with simplicity how even those outside of the Monastery, even as parents, can engage in spiritual work and lead a contemplative life. I was wondering how I could draw closer to God despite my 6 month old baby , but I learned that I can, but it isn't in spite of my son or even my husband because of their needs, but because of them I can come to know God a little better. I don't believe reading this book would be a waste of time. In fact, it is worth reading over and over again for whenever you need a dose of grace.

Quick Read, but a deep subject
Really well done book, written in very understandable language. Rochester takes us a spiritual step deeper than the concept of the domestic church.

Great read.
This is a pretty quick read with reflections on how to use the age and stage of our lives to be reflective and contemplative. Few of us have the time and space to be "set apart" in our spiritual journeys. He validates, and offers perspective on, the lives we actually live as a monastic practice. I found it helpful.

Get it!! I found it so encouraging!
SUCH a good book! And a short, easy read. Finally, an author who realizes a good book doesn't have to be 300 pages long!It made so many wonderful points in a concise manner. I read it in maybe 2 hours of somewhat interrupted time (kids! Lol). I plan to re-read it whenever I'm getting a little discouraged about parenting :)

The experience of the delivery of the parcel has left a bitter taste in our mouth.
The courier Blue Dart was unhelpful. You asked us to contact him at Shillong. We did. He told that the address on the item was incomplete. It had only my name and nothing else. He asked for a landmark We pointed out that it was near Shillong Fire Brigade. He seemed to indicate his ignorance. Then we mentioned RBI. But no pracel was delivered. We went to the office to collect it. The address was clear. Our school St Edmund's is well known as it 104 years old. A lot of anxiety was caused as the amount paid for the book was large. To get an uncooperative seller is painful to say the least.

Short but sweet
Just brilliant. Excellent resource for private study, but especially suitable for groups. Concise but complete and hugely inspiring.
