Adjustable voltage regulator
Works perfect for my application. Used it on a four stroke Yamaha g14 golf cart. Eliminating the factory solid state voltage regulators that are always junk. This One I can fine turn where I want my voltage on the cart. The adjustment screw is very touchy.

You have to open the regulator and adjust the screw for your application
I bought 2 of these for an older Club Car DS before I found it needs to be adjusted. It's a simple job. remove two small screws on the regulator. Hook your multimeter to the battery. Raise the rear wheels so you can run it in place, or put it in maintenance mode (look it up). Run the cart and watch your meter while you turn the screw inside the regulator until you see something like 14.5 to 15.5 volts. Tighten the set nut and close it up. I sure wish it was mentioned in the package the regulator came in. I've been charging my cart every week for way too long. It now runs much better and charges nicely, even with the lights on.

Reviews are misleading
This part's no good. My Club Car ran less volts than when the 40 year old original regulator was still on it. The reviews are misleading, because it shows like 4 1/2 stars, but if you read some reviews everyone one says it didn't work or failed very soon. People gave it 5 star reviews, even though it's junk because the customer service was good getting them a replacement. Customer service was good, I got refunded very fast, but still a bad part. And yes I tried adjusting it like many people on here said you might have to do.

Find a different option
Works for about 2 mins each time. Will charge at 14V+ then after a few minutes it's down to 11.5V. Has been adjusted and set with the cart in maintenance mode. Putting the original back on the cart solved all issues

Voltage would not exceed 12.2 volts , can't charge battery enough.
I used this voltage regulator on my 1989 ezgo golf cart, should be reading around 13 to 14 volts when cart is running in higher ram, but would not exceed 12.2 volts , not enough to keep battery charged...
