I wear an 81/2. Which size should I order?

I have a 7 1/2 shoe size and I ordered an 8. The 7 1/2 were a little tight on me but I have a wide foot. So 8 was perfect fit for me.

How is the arch support?

Very comfortable for me; I have plantar fasciitis and these help a great deal.

Although I didn't purchase the slate color, it appears to me to be a medium gray.

Is this a grey color? or a blue/slate color? thanks!
