Smells great and eliminates stank!
I have used Lume in the past with great results, but during a move my old stick of Lume disappeared for a couple of years. When I found it a few months ago it was kind of dried out, the coconut scent had vanished, and it smelled like a box of crayons. While it was still effective, I'm not a huge fan of smelling like crayons, so I decided to order some new Lume. I primarily got it because its safe to use in places....other than... my pits if you catch my drift. Also not a fan of aluminum. Lume works like a champ! I'm not really concerned with stopping the sweat, I'm more concerned with stopping odor. I work outside everyday and in the summer I'm drenched from head to toe anyways. So Lume is perfect for my situation. It eliminates all odor, and by all I mean ALL. I don't care who you are or how hard you scrub, at the end of a long hot day outside, your southern hemisphere will have an odor in some form. Lume has eliminated this for me. I have not had any skin irritation at all using Lume. I know everyone is different, but for me there have been no issues whatsoever. It does leave a little bit of a "film" on my skin, I'm not sure that's the right word, it's not greasy or gross feeling, it's more "silky" than anything. Definitely not unpleasant. And I'll take silky over stinky any day. I prefer the way Lume feels over "regular" deodorant. Now for the scent... I have a "super nose" and can usually smell things when others can't so this was probably the biggest and most important factor for me. I ordered the Clean Tangerine, Lavender Sage, and Unscented bundle. Usually any citrus scented products give me a migraine, so I was a little worried about that, but I read so many positive reviews about that scent I decided to roll the dice. It actually smells amazing and I tried that scent today and haven't had the slightest tinge of a headache. I think it's my favorite scent. The lavender sage does smell good, but the tangerine wins. The unscented did have a slight (and I mean barely noticeable if you have your nose right on the stick) "crayon" smell to it, but that does go away after it's applied. I gave my son the unscented stick to try and if it works for him I'll order him a "manly" scent. After I ordered this bundle, out of curiosity, I did some research regarding my original stick of Lume smelling like crayons. I was horrified to read mainly negative reviews about how Lume smelled like swamp butt and sour milk. I was really second guessing my order at that point, not sure if something had changed in their formula since i bought my first stick years ago. Tons of people were being repulsed by the smell of their Lume. There was speculation in many of these reviews and discussions that perhaps only some people are able to smell this and others are not - much like how cilantro tastes like soap to some people and doesn't to others. I must be one of the people that can't smell the foul odor that others do, or perhaps its only the cream that has that smell. I tend to think it's more common to see negative reviews because people are more apt to shout from the rooftops when they have a negative experience than when they have a positive one. It smells great to me! So if you have researched Lume and read all those reviews - just give it a try for yourself. I do find it somewhat difficult to spend so much on a deodorant, but knowing that it can be used ANYWHERE you have odor without worry, I think its worth it. Also, a little goes a long way. It says it works up to 72 hours, but I would rather be safe than sorry so I apply it once a day. Maybe one day I will do an experiment. At the end of the day I'm really happy to have found Lume and I'm so glad there is an effective alternative to applying aluminum to my pits every day that can be used in other places.

No itch! No B.O!
I have a very strong allergy to most deodorants. The rash, the itching like I want to tear through my skin. So I went on the natural deodorant journey. That was rough. One that did work was the crystal stick (salt stick) but in the really humid hot months it was limited on what it could do. So I tried Lume. I have to admit that some of the scents are awful. The powder one smells like baby powder and baby poop 🤮 but the tangerine one is great! No weird odor at all and it WORKS! No itch. No smell. I’m not a sweaty person so if you are I can’t give opinion on that part. But as far as B.O. nothing. So I hope they never discontinue this specific scent.

Works so well in my belly area. No rash, no smell, it works great!
I have a tummy that hangs over and the area gets red and sore, sometimes it itches, and has a mild odor, (nothing horrible, but it's uncomfortable). Now that you've had the TMI part, I can tell you that it was COMPLETELY relieved using this solid stick. I have also used the stick that pushes up through holes and it works equally well. I never get dressed without it and it works for a long time. I never need to reapply before my next shower. I also like this scent.

Fav clean deo
Repeatedly by this deodorant. It smells really good and works for the most part. Unfortunately, it couldn’t handle first trimester, sweats and stink, but I’m back using it in my second trimester. It’s not sticky, it doesn’t leave a residue or turn anything white. Unless you’re a really stinky person, pregnant or in the depths of postpartum I would definitely recommend this.

Unexpectedly life-changing
I tried Lume because my postpartum body odor was too strong for my usual natural deodorant, and I’m a natural deo user only and didn’t want anything with aluminum or phthalates. There was an adjustment period, to say the least. At first it seemed to make my body odor worse—as if it smelled like someone else’s body odor. It was gross. I’d read online about how it initially stinks as the mandelic acid is killing off bacteria, though. The smell improved as it dried after application, so I pushed through since I didn’t want to buy yet another deodorant. My body seemed to need a week or two, then the funk of the initial adjustment got a lot better. And once I had adjusted, it was really, really effective at completely changing the smell of my armpits to the soft powder scent. I usually use a quick swipe morning and evening and I basically never smell BO anymore even though I don’t shower every day. So that’s pretty great, but the actual life-changing part is that Lume has completely solved my armpit irritation. I’ve always been prone to rashes and shaving bumps, to the point where I don’t own many sleeveless tops. I thought it was just unavoidable with shaving, since the only way to get rid of it entirely has been not shaving my armpits. However, during the adjustment period with Lume I decided to shave to see if that helped the funk, and lo and behold, apparently the irritation was caused by every other deodorant I’ve ever used in my entire life, and with Lume I can shave without any irritation. Incredible. 10 stars. Will rebuy. Side note, I won’t rebuy the soft powder scent, since it’s too strong and smells a little fake. I’m hoping that vanilla or lavender might work better for me, since I’m used to smelling more like essential oils than an air freshener.

Love the stick as much as the cream tube.. All fragrances disappear in minutes.
As good as the cream version, just different. This works as good as the cream version, it is just different in that it comes in a convenient stick. This keeps the smell at bay really well. It is NOT an antiperspirant, so I still get wet under my arms a bit, but the smell is not there. I dont mind because Its my opinion that sweating is good for you. Now, the stick can leave a slight bit of clear residue on the arm pit area of tank tops. The cream version in a tube, does not. I think there is a time and place for both. I have used every smell they carry. It no longer matters to me because the fragrance disappears in about 1-2 min. So in the end it turns unscented.

Peac.\nH is a nice scent not overpowering
I already use Lume. Usually stay away from the scented products- I haven't like their other scents. it has been a while. Check a chance on the peach and I like it. It doesn't stay very long but it is nice while on applying it

Not the best scent.
I'm pretty much stuck using Lume, and mandelic acid deoderants in general, because I suddenly developed an allergy to my favorite deoderant (sensitive sandalwood & shea butter) after years of using it with no problem. Lume has consistenly poor fragrances, but I keep using them because mandelic acid is very effective for ingrowns and evening skin tone. Do cleanse and reapply after high activity sweats, because it does not nearly last 72 hours and you WILL stink. Cucumber Mint - pleasant ruined by plastic undertone Fresh Alpine - smells like burning tar & caused skin reaction Soft powder - decent, not a scent I want on me or clothes Lavender Sage - chemical and rancid, returned immediately Vanilla Bliss - can be cloyingly sweet but the most wearable Toasted Coconut - smells like straight buttered popcorn Unfortunately, Summer Peach in its execution is just like Cucumber Mint. The scent is light and pleasant but not strong enough to mask the plastic/chemical odor of the substance itself. The reason for Vanilla Bliss being so successful is that its strong, fake fragrance hides all of the underlying chemical funk. It can be seen a lot of effort went into the marketing of Summer Peach. Don't be influenced, it doesn't smell that good! Amazing for sensitive skin but I want the brand to come up with stylish and WEARABLE scents that don't come across as completely synthetic headaches.

God sent
This deodorant is a godsend. I’m on medication that unfortunately makes me heat intolerant/sweat more (Vyvanse). I don’t mind sweating, it’s just the body odour that comes with it. I have tried multiple antiperspirants from different brands and even resorted to extra strength clinical antiperspirants, to no avail. If you’re anything like me, I honestly thought this deodorant was bs. No aluminum? how does that fix anything? Well, after trialing as much products as I have, I decided to just give it a try as my last resort before getting botox or some sort of treatment. I am beyond impressed. It doesn’t help with sweating directly (no aluminum), but it has completely diminished my body odour. I can lift my arms with confidence now without fear of it smelling (which probably contributed to me sweating more). While I don’t get the full 72hrs, I can get 24hrs/between showers and that is a win in itself, I was applying antiperspirant 2-4 times a day!!! I would rate this 6/5 if I could, I am a very satisfied customer

Not magical, but it works
I bought this specifically for those areas where you don’t want to use your regular underarm deodorant. I find that as long as you put it on immediately after bathing it does work quite well to keep me smelling fresh. I knocked off one star as it lasts about 24 hrs for me and the tangerine scent is overly potent. I would buy again if I don’t find something that works even better.
