Got what I wanted

They aren't the worst for ponytails, but they need a little more stretch.

The gold tone component wrapping around the elastic bands was not integrated into the bands themselves, but was over them a little loosely. They felt rough and I thought they would catch my curly hair and cause problems. I just dug some plan bands out of a drawer and gave up on tieing by looping over balls like years ago. I am back to pulling my hair through the bands, but at least my hair is not snagging on anything.

Theres not much to say about these, but they do the job. My daughter loves them.
