Concealed Carry Purse - Genuine Leather Locking CCW Gun Bag - Left and Right-hand Draw

The wife really likes this bag it provides more then enough room for all of her endless junk while safely holding her piston in a concealed area in the back. She also liked that it came with 2 small luggage type locks on both sides of the concealed compartment. No the locks will not keep bad guys out but it allows her to go out on play dates and lock it up so no little hands can get in there.The reason I did not rate this as five stars is because the provided holster is almost near worthless. It barely held her S&W 9MM Shield and was cumbersome to deal with when trying to quickly draw and present the pistol which is something that is always difficult to do effectively when carrying in a hand bag to begin with. I decided to purchase the HPG holster from Contact Concealment which is an all kydex holster without the belt clip or loops lined on one side with military grade Velcro (yes there is such a thing as milspec Velcro) after I placed the order for the holster I contacted the owner (great guy) and requested he add a strip of Velcro to both sides which he did at no extra cost.Once we received and positioned the HPG holster in the hand bag it made a huge difference when drawing and re holstering. No more having to depend on or fumble around with the an elastic strap and once holstered it has excellent retention that only a high quality kydex holster can offer. I highly recommend making this upgrade.

This is a decent ccw purse but once you put your wallet and change purse in.. and some other must haves.. it makes a pretty tight snug fit for your gun.The purse has two zippered sides where you can put your gun into the pouch from either side, the gun fits into a holster that is velcroed into place and remains snug and safe. Each zippered side has two keys so that you can actually lock the purse's access to your gun. The gun compartment cannot be reached from inside the purse, you must get to the gun from the outside of the purse and thru one of the zippered compartments.The purse has side compartments and a leather shoulder strap. I wish I had paid more attention to the strap before I purchased this, as it could be longer (no way to adjust it) and with it being leather with no reinforcement, it will wear eventually and probably need to be replaced.What I dislike about the purse is.. that it is not quite big enough, once you put items into the purse, when you add your gun, it makes it almost to snug and it will make it harder if you have to draw your gun out in a hurry, it is a bit of a struggle to get it out even without a crisis going on. I had to remove some items from my purse just to make it a bit easier to get to the gun.It is 'ok' .. but for me, I wish it had longer straps and was a bit larger.UPDATE 3 years later. Well I have to say that the purse holds up.. it is still not my ideal ccw purse.. but I am still using it. The only thing htat has happened to it in 3 years is that the one end ziipper pull fell off. But it does not effect much of anything. The straps and snaps and zippers have all held up.. the liner has held up.. and though I really want a bigger bag with a bigger ccw compartment.. I have to give this a thumbs up for durability... the purse does last!

I bought 2 other concealed handbags before this one. I must say this is the best one for me.When I first received it I wasn't sure it had enough room. I was so wrong.It's all leather and feels great. It has 2 main compartments that helps keep my large items organized.One of them has a zipper pouch and the other has 2 open pockets in which I keep a compact mirror in one of them. That helps me find it quicker.The front has 2 zipper and 1 open pocket.The section with ID and card holders has replaced my bulky wallet.It could use a change section but I use the front pocket for that and my keys.Now to the important part, the concealed carry compartment.I LOVE the lockable zippers.My 380 fits beautifully with 2 spare mags and there is no visible bulge. It is very easy to grab while the purse is still on my shoulder.It is big enough for a 9 but not a 40.You can lock the zipper to prevent access which is handy when visiting friends and relatives for safety reasons or if you have kids at home.Pro: All leather soft. Lockable zippers. Plenty of compartments.Con: The only con is the straps are not adjustable but plenty long enough to carry comfortably.

I priced some purses at the gun shop for twice the price that were basically hobo types. I need the pockets on the outside for phone, etc. and I need more than one section inside or everything becomes a jumble. The only drawback is that when my gun is in the holster it takes up some of the other space - really can't be helped and I don't think I would like a larger purse. The size of this one is just right. I can carry everything including a book and they fit. The holster fits a 38. Not sure how large a revolver it will fit.
