100% QUALITY! PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE!
This thing is pure sexiness and unbeatable quality. The whole thing is a very nice matte black and feels like suede (i swear!) Very sleek feel along with some very nice silicone feet for grip. Front has the venom logo that lights up red and creates this awesome effect on wherever it sits. The charger is very easy to use with a simple channel select button and buttons to lower and raise the charge rate, along with another button to start and stop charging for each channel. Fan on the back ensures that the charger stays cool during operation aswell. The major thing that really popped out to me was an immediate punch of awesomeness! Not only does it charge the most commonly used MCX batteries but also JST, MOLEX and even the MCPX for those micro helis. Another thing is this thing not only does LIPO but ALSO does LIHV! Yeah you heard that right. LIHV!!!!! Simple switch sets the chem settings for charging to make it safe and easy. The manual is extremely detailed with both diagrams and detailed shots of the operation screens. And the Limited Lifetime Warranty makes it a no brainer honestly. If it fails within the year they will either repair or replace it and anytime after that they even credit 30% back if it fails towards anything else Venom you may want to buy <--- this alone made me super happy as it is lol Every single time i've dealt with Venom they've been nothing but perfect. Fast, courteous and personable service is why i buy Venom. USA based and USAwesome! sorry i had to :p ps. to this date, well i should say until now - i have never found a 1s charger that i was 100% happy with but this thing has hit that nail on the head and more. This thing ROCKS!

Avoid this, not worth the headaches
Update to the update: I take back what I took back. Turns out the batteries I was using were bad, not the charger. I bought a new set of Venom 1s batteries and all is well. The charger works fine (still don't love the UI but I can love with it) and my heli flies great again. If you run into the same errors I did, check the batteries first. Update: I take it all back, this charger is terrible. I will leave my original review below, but I will also tell you that after owning and using this for over a month it is infuriating. The charge constantly gives errors that make no sense. It is constantly showing ERR7 which means over voltage when the battery voltage is 3.8 V (fully charged is 4.2). I can take the very same battery and plug it into my Spektrum charger and it starts right up with no problem at all. On top of that, the user interface is frustrating at best. It requires way way too many button presses to get the thing started. My Spektrum charger with start charging 4 batteries with a single button press. This Venom charger requires no less that 12 presses to do the same thing. And by the time you are done pressing all of those buttons, the first and second batteries have stopped charging due to a false error. Original review is below: While I wish there were a few changes to this charger it gets the job done quickly and well. I have batteries with all of the connectors that this charger supports and they all work fine. I wish there was more than 0.1 amp resolution but I appreciate that you can set the charge current individually for each output. Cycling though the channels with the buttons can get tedious and I wish the hold to start changing was shorter or started all channels at the same time (after setting all the currents). Even with these minor flaws this is a great little charger for $31 (at time of writing).

Great charger with one minor hitch
I have used this charger since 2019 and think it's a great value for the price. I like the quality and ease of use - works great! For this I give it 5 stars. However, I did run into one little issue, and it has to do with input voltage. The charger comes with an AC power cord as well as a separate power cord with coaxial plug at one end and alligator clips at the other for portable field use, say, connecting to a car battery, etc. For field use the charger is rated from 9 to 12VDC input. Believe it! The first time I tried connecting the charger to my field box battery the charger displayed ERR9, which, according to the manual, turns out to be an input voltage error that exceeds maximum limits. To test what this maximum input limit was, I connected the charger to my benchtop variable power supply and slowly turned up the voltage to just past 12 volts. At about 12.2 -12.3 volts the unit beeped and ERR9 was displayed. This meant the charger could not be run on a standard 12-volt lead-acid battery (usually 12.6 to 14.2 volts). Fortunately the charger seems well protected and no harm was done to the unit. We have solar-powered charging carts with lead-acid batteries at our flying field. To use this charger on the solar carts I purchased an adjustable DC-DC Buck-Boost converter/regulator - for roughly $15 on Amazon - setting the output to about 10.5 volts. The charger works like a champ on the buck/boost converter with no stability or overheating issues. Back in business! In general, if you're planning to use the charger only from the AC outlet, I highly recommend this product. Just be careful what power source you plan to use other than the AC power cord.

good little charger
been using this for a couple months now with great success. I charge 1s quadcopter batteries from several different mAh ratings and with a few different connectors. functions flawlessly and charges in a timely manner. Things I would change: 1) offer a volume control for the fully charged alarm as it is very loud and chimes many times. 2) have a lit up or more pronounced LHv switch as I have accidently left it on high volt setting for some of my standard batteries which could cause battery failure. other than that, what a great value, Buy it or buy a parallel board and charge your batteries from a full size RC charger!
