I broke my wrist a few months ago and the therapist suggested that I try some exercise balls to improve the dexterity in my fingers. These appealed to me, rather than cloisonné or metal. When they arrived I was little surprised. They were bit smaller than I was anticipating, but they are very comfortable to use, and they do seem to be providing exercise for my fingers. The quality is very nice, I may buy a slightly larger size in future as well, but for now these are working fine to exercise my fingers, I don't have very small hands, but they are still a bit stiff at the moment , If you have large hands, a slightly larger size might be better for you, but the quality is nice!

I have arthritis in my hands and arms. I did just have pain while sleeping but now it's 24-7. The rubber stress balls were recommended and I bought them, but the squeezing hurts. A colleague gave me two of the chrome balls to use while at work. I thought they are 2 inch balls, and they're big and heavy really. I got these for home, and they are like half the size of the ones my colleague gave me! At first, I thought they were way too small, but like some others said, the size is great! These are easy to manipulate in your hands, and you feel like you are exercising your hands! I didn't think I would feel anything because they're so small, but I guess the small movements really work. I love them and just bought another set so I can have one at the office and one at home. Oh, they're pretty, too, and the box is just fine. The price is also great. Very happy with this purchase.

I've had sets of exercise balls for years. They're metal and chime. However, the chimes are very annoying. Enter a stone set.The balls are about the correct stated size. A nice green color. I suspect they're made from manufactured stone. They have some manufacturing defects such as small scratches, minor pits and flat spots.The box these came in is cheap garbage. Made of low-grade compressed cardboard, dyed red, covered in stickers, lined with thin vinyl, and polyester fabric glued in place. The latch is brass plated steel and doesn't actually latch.For me these are fine. They'll work decently.

These are the same size I used in my rehab after my hand surgery. They are so very helpful to keep my hands from getting to tight and stiff. Helps keep my finger limber so I can do my everyday tasks. And they are cool to the touch when I first pick them up to start my at home rehab.

The box is every bit as terrible as the other reviews suggest.. dont even count on it being good. Mine came out of the package broken.However, the balls seems fine and they're a really satisfying deep jade color, which is what I was hoping for.

My doctor advised I get some of these balls to improve the circulation and tendon movement in my hands. Arthritis was limiting my movements. I'm female, wear an XLG glove... I just have large hands, but I'm 5'9'' and large framed. I chose this size hoping they would be easier to move in my hands. There are 2" balls available, but not for me. I found this size works well. It took awhile to get the hang of it. I was glad when I stopped dropping them. Good material, very smooth and cool to the touch. Nice storage box.

Update: I purchased a second set for my sister as a birthday gift because she tried mine and liked them so much.I’ve included a picture of them in my hand next to a standard water bottle. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone trying to get a good idea of their size.I love these. I use them for anxiety and they help with that quite a bit. I read somewhere that when you feel anxiety you have to do something physical in order to calm down. Deep breathing works well but sometimes if I use these my breathing starts to deepen all by itself. Basically you distract the brain.I like that they are small, because I have small hands and regular sized ones are huge in my hands. I like that they are also not the ones that make chiming noises. Sometimes I want to be discreet when using them and don’t want noises. I was worried that if I dropped them they might break, but one time I did drop on of them from a good height and it landed on hardwood floor. It didn’t break or scratch.Overall I’m impressed with everything about these. I carry them in my purse daily. I use them almost daily, I find myself using them at night sometimes just before bed because they are sort of hypnotic and relaxing.If you are feeling stressed out or have anxiety yourself, there really is no harm in trying something like this. I didn’t think it would work as well as it does but I’m really happy I gave it a chance.

Beautiful box and pretty stone balls but came damaged.

These are exactly what I wanted & much better quality than I anticipated. I have used the tinkling balls in the past but wanted the quieter stone ones now. Very pleasantly pleased.
