The Clinical Pearls are Fantastic
What often makes pharmacology so hard is the waterfall of information that publishers pack into a book. In true MedEd101 fashion, the entries include valuable clinical pearls that tell you have a patient might use the medication in real life, if at all, and obstacles such as cost that would prevent them from using the medication properly. Here are a few pearls from an anti-obesity drug that make it much easier to understand if a patient would be a good candidate and how they might use it.Liraglutide (Saxenda) - (Victoza, for diabetes)Clinical Pearls:Higher target dose for weight loss (3 mg) vs diabetes (1.8mg)ExpensiveIt makes sense to use a GLP-1 in obese patients who also have diabetesIt's an easy to digest handbook that will help you with nursing pharmacology.

Okay for the price
it's an okay book for the price. I wish it was formatted a little better because it's all a clump of information that can get overwhelming to try to find the medicine you're looking for. The price however makes up for it, so I will still be using it.
