Fell Apart Quickly--Very Disappointed
I've never before written a negative review on a product, but I can't let this go!I too wish I had read all the reviews beforehand. I purchased the 100 pack and was pleased at first sight as I filled them to be used this summer to help channel high water in irrigation ditches. Unfortunately mine also deteriorated after 10-14 days between water turns. Sand bags that I've had in the past, for the same use, have lasted all summer long and sometimes into the following year. I would encourage Amazon to drop this product, for people to steer clear of this item--it certainly did not meet expectations regarding UV Protection!

These suck!!!!
I bought these sand bags to fill up and place on patio umbrella base for extra weight in the event of high wind. The 50 pound bags of sand I bought at The Home Depot fit inside these sand bags without having to cut open the original packaging. This would normally be great because it would allow the sand inside to remain dry and prevent mold, mildew and a whole host of things from growing in the sand. I placed 4 of the sand bags around my umbrella and was pleased with my end result. In less than one month of sitting around the base of my umbrella, not moving and not being touched, the bags have almost completely disintegrated. It's a good thing I was able to pur the sand in and keep it in the manufacturer packaging, otherwise I would now have only a pile of sand around the base of the umbrella providing absolutely ZERO extra weight for the stability I need. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!

There is no UV protection
Bought these to fill with sand to hold down a tarp on a leaking flat roof. Living in South Florida, the "UV protection" was a main selling point for me. I came back after about 60 days to cut the grass on the property and saw white flakes on the windshield of my truck. It took me a while to figure out it was the bags that had disintegrated into small pieces. What a pathetic, bunch of crap. If you want to waste time and get really frustrated for wasting your money, go ahead and buy these!

Very cheaply made
The ties and bags tear easily when you fill and tie them. Make sure you don't overfill them. The bags are not UV resistant at all. After setting in the sun for 1 week filled with beach sand the bags had degraded to the point that they were impossible to move. They would just tear apart. Save your money if you plan on moving them .

Bags rip within a couple weeks without moving.
We tried using these bags as weights. They sat in the sun and the rain for no more than 2 weeks. They were filled about half way with sand. Almost all the bags have torn open without moving them. I have bags from another manufacturer that have lasted 2 or 3 years under the same weather conditions plus over winter were moved to storage then back out in the spring.

BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE... These bags were purchased to temporarily hold our flowerbed rocks. As you can see, they failed! These bags sat on the side of our house for a week, when we tried to move one it fell apart and if we touched any of them they just turn to dust! EXTREMELY disappointed!

Simply Sandbags
Bought to gaurd my garage from rain ingress during the remnants of hurricane Dorian. Overall they seemed good though they never really were put to the test. Before anyone asks they are NOT filled with sand, you get ONLY THE BAGS.

Sturdy
What a great deal on quality sandbags! Thankfully we used these for a fun project at a time when neighbors were using theirs against floodwaters. We used them to shore up the walls in our koi pond, filled them with the dirt and sand from the hole we dug before laying in rubber liner.
