Richardson Sheffield Kyu Paring Knife

I love this knife! The weight of it makes it so easy to handle. The sharp blade is amazing. Cuts tomatoes clean without breaking them apart. Slice through avocados cleanly. You will order the large and smaller one after trying this knife. Hand wash to keep the blade sharp. You won’t regret buying it.

Use of this knife is a pleasant experience. It sliced very smoothly as it lays nicely in the hand. The value is increased as this knife is dishwasher proof.

I already bought one of these knives at a store without knowing about the brand and I realized that after some years of intense use it still cuts like the first day.

My wife and I found a couple of these knives in a local Home Goods store, bought them on a lark because of their striking "Japanese" look, and quickly discovered that they were (far) superior to the (far) more expensive Henckle knives we already own. We have since acquired a complete set of the seven knives made by Richardson of Sheffield in this style, several of which had to be bought directly from the UK. They are magnificent knives for the price, beautifully designed and sharp as a razor.

I have a bunch of paring knives and this is one of my favorites. It's extremely comfortable in your hand because of the handle and bolsterless design. The blade has remained sharp and it is also well balanced. I would definitely buy this knife again and recommend it to others. I think it's also inexpensive for the quality you get. An excellent knife for the price!

Slowly replacing all the knives on my block with these.

The knife was bought as a replacement for a knife we lost from our block. The knife we got was a different colour than what we ordered but the same style so we just kept it.

Bought this for my mum as she’s never had a decent knife. First time she used it she said she thought the carrots she was cutting had gone soft as it cut so easily! Really good sharp knife

This is the sharpest and most comfortable knife of this type I have ever had in 55 years. Very easy to resharpen with a good quality steel and it hold its edge. I have paid a lot more for trash.
