Since I live in an apartment, I could not anchor down my safe. However, with the help of these shims as well as a weight at the back of my safe, this keeps my safe from falling and everybody safe. My fridge wasn’t registering at the proper temperature it continuously was above 40 degrees and my freezer was too cold. Our floor was not level so these were the perfect solution! We used an air pump lift and put these under it not only did all the fluids regulate but they made it perfectly stable. Considering the fridge is hundreds of lbs that speaks on the quality of this item. We’ve now had them in for quite some time and I’m impressed with their performance. I got these because the wooden shims kept coming out from other the leg of my washer. I have an uneven floor in the basement and it's so hard for me to adjust the feet, so I just use these. Love the way they grip. Work great and recommend.

Shims are rigid enough to not compress or deform under significant load or when driving into gaps as a wedge. I have hit them surprisingly hard with a hammer without even cracking a corner. They are strong and rigid but not brittle. I screwed (#8) and nailed (12D) through them with no splitting/cracking. They are manufactured cleanly- each shim consistent in composition and dimensions. They are essentially pre-scored with their "ribbed" design making them easy to snap at the right length/thickness. If you can get a clean shot with a hammer to snap them or don't have strong hands, they cut easily with snips, diagonals, or a knife. Deal Guys got them to me quickly, in perfect condition and at a great price. I cannot yet attest to the "never-rot" claims, but based on what I see/feel in manufacturing quality and design, I am confident they will perform inside and out reliably.

These things are made for a Barbie world they are so small. Maybe Ken could level his hot tub but I sure can’t!
