Gjetost is a must try cheese, will impress anyone you introduce it to. Tastes more like caramel than cheese.

Saltier than Ski Queen
Apart from the saltiness, it's equal in flavor. It's hard to find gjetost in stores, so finding it on Amazon was good fortune.

Addictive
I can’t stop eating this! First time I tried it I wasn’t sure if I liked it or hated it. It has a unique taste - salted caramel and mild cheese is the best way I can describe it. It’s not for everyone though. I’m the only one in my family who likes it. I think another poster said she ate it with coffee. I can attest to the fact that this is a good way to eat it.

Excellent cheese but price too high
This is an excellent Norwegian goat cheese, but at this price for one small piece it really is not worth it. Won’t buy it again from them.

Excellent flavor, very fresh
I put this goat cheese on Yulekaga, a Norwegian Christmas bread which is much better than butter! Wilth a good cup of coffee it is the breakfast I remember from Christmas morning! It was shipped and packed to keep the cheese very fresh.

Cheese sent in regular packaging, not refrigerated!
One-star reviews are strictly for delivery issues. The product is fine. The way it was sent was not. Who sends CHEESE in regular packaging, not refrigerated? And delivery was a day late, meaning that it went unrefrigerated for even longer! I ate it anyway, and I'm fine. Maybe that's what they calculate. Still, not good.
