Beautiful story and illustrations
This book is based on a true story that takes you back into a cultural world that either you, growing up in Latin-American, or maybe your parents or grandparents, knew. It is so appropriate as it teaches the value of books and reading, but also the value of education, imagination, and appreciation of the past. I'm sure it is a story my children will always remember. I'm glad to have it in our library.

Very sweet, imaginative story with a powerful message and beautiful pictures
This is the sweetest book with beautiful, vivid pictures and a message filled with generosity, imagination and heart. Both my 2 year old and 4 year old love to read it. It reminds them that some children don't have access to books and stories like they do, but they always have their imaginations. The little girl in the book makes the best of her situation, and as much as she loves reading the stories of others and can't wait for the Biblioburro to return; she is inspired by the librarian's suggestion that she share her own stories, so she creates her own book for the Biblioburro!

Great story and quality, Spanish translation is way better than expected
Excellent quality for the book and the story it tells is amazing and good for children. My only concern when I decided to buy the book was the quality of the Spanish it would use. The translation was above what I expected (Spanish is my first language), finding only one error on the first page ("una árbol", gender mismatch).I totally recommend this book
