Extra protection
A few months ago we noticed a family member getting these daily while in the hospital. I immediately decided to get some for me and my family for a little extra protection while we're out in public. When you open the pack, you'll have a cotton swab with a lot of liquid. You just swirl the swab around your nostril for a few seconds each and you're good to go. I'm no fan of kiwi, but these smell pretty good. Hours later you can still lightly smell the scent in your nose, but as I said, it's actually good. The peace of mind knowing that these working alongside your vaccines are trying to keep you safe and healthy makes them worth ever penny.

Works - Very strong though
These seem to work well overall, but they burned my nose like crazy. A little stronger and less pleasant smelling then others I've used, beyond that it seems OK.

very useful, nice fruity after smell
Where was this during the height of the pandemic? However, I'm glad I found out about these now, better late than never. I just got home from a backyard birthday party where one of my friends said they had just recently tested negative after weeks of testing positive. She was feeling better and on the mend but I still don't feel too comfortable being around people that had just gotten better and would prefer not to be around them until they are truly 100%, with nothing lingering. As soon as I came home got one of these and swabbed my nose.It does sting a little because of the alcohol and felt jarring. Actually, maybe it doesn't sting but the sensation you get when this is up your nostrils is similar to a stinging sensation, and like I said, jarring. It isn't the most comfortable feeling but it is necessary for bacteria reduction. These swabs are soaked in alcohol and very moist. I didn't realize these had scent added, no wonder, because I thought it had a fruity smell. Don't try to smell this as you are swabbing your nose because you'll get a strong whiff of the alcohol and that can't be good. You will smell the light fruity smell when you've dried your nose and the smell will linger for a while. It is an enjoyable scent though, nothing overwhelming. It didn't smell like kiwi to me but a nice fruity scent. This product is great but don't go overboard with these because your nose still needs to have some good bacteria. You also need to let it do its job of trapping dirt and bacteria, which is what your little nose hairs are meant to do. I recommend having these at home, they are quite useful. If you have little ones at home, make sure to keep these out of reach because this is soaked in high alcohol content.

bacteria/germ reduction, long lasting application, proactive or reactive use
Not a daily cleaner for basic home use. More situation specific. If you ware around a lot of people in medical setting or will be among lots of people, can use swab before to be proactive, or after to help keep germs taking hold. This style is pricy. Not a brand thing, just how it is. Shop around, but this style of product is competitively priced, and medline is a known brand. I dont rate on price because we can see the price, and it if it is something you need in this style, there arent a lot of options.Use is typical and is shown in the product pictures. Clean your nostrils, then take one and swish around one nostil then using the same swab swish around the second. These are made for single use, and to take care of both nostrils with one swab.I like having this available to me in my medicine cabinet. Just could come in handy, especially these days.

Don't burn/sting, and I like the scent, but I don't get the price
As these are essentially large Q-tips soaked in hand sanitizer, I thought that they might burn the inside of my nose because I have some sore areas from allergies and a lot of nose blowing. Surprisingly to me, they don't sting at all. Not at all. They are just soothing. I also happen to like the scent, which is good because it lingers for a _long_ time. Hours.I admit that I'm not a big fan of using the same swab for both nostrils, which is what the instructions say. These are single-ended swabs, so after you do one nostril, you use the same end to do the other one. It probably shouldn't bother me, but I'm not a fan. Now, as a regular consumer, do I understand why these cost so much? No. There certainly might be a good reason for it, but I don't know why you couldn't just use a Q-tip (that has two ends, one for each nostril) and soak it in something similar. So, I like that they don't sting, and I'm glad that I like the long-lasting smell...but I don't see these as practical for the regular consumer.
