OAKSWARE 4 Inch Classic Paring Knife, German Steel Small Kitchen Knife

Great paring knife, fits my hand great but isn’t light and flimsy. It’s German steel and I can sharpen it. I’m impressed and can see nothing changing about this knife. I have a sharpener now for my good knives. This paring knife will have great life with me. Used it twice and both times it’s very sharp. Great buy and fantastic material. Slides right through everything I’ve cut so far.

Great little sharp knife. Fits great in the hand. Comfortable handle. Affordable price for sturdy material. I use it every day for various tasks . Only drawback for me, it’s a little to big for a paring knife. And I have big hands. Overall I do like this knife and would purchase it again

Knife is a Winner! Came in a well packaged plastic case and was in perfect condition! The weight of the package impressed me as I picked it up. Once open, I was truly impressed by the knife. It had a steel shank from front to back and a heavy wood grip. If this came with a leather case, it would make a great knife for hunting/camping carry! Very sharp too. Wish I had this knife several years ago! If all of this brand of knife are this good, I may buy more!

This little knife has great weight and feel, especially for the money, and I use it most every day for tasks that only need a small blade. A great buy, especially compared to other name-brand small knives at literally five to ten times the price! But it is so odd that the blade came sharpened very asymmetrically... ...one side was hardly ground at all while the other was ground much more, overall almost like a sushi knife where one-sided sharpening is done deliberately?? (I have been correcting this edge imbalance slowly over time, using a Japanese wet stone (1000 grit under a light steam of running water), so it is not such a bit deal to me... Otherwise, 5 stars considering the very modest price and overall feel and utility.)

Easy to handle, very sharp! Truth is, it's one of the best knives I've ever used!

Very impressed with all the OAKSWARE product line. Strong steel, very sharp and long lasting. Convenient Handles for all the styles. Perfect knife for the price. Pretty heavy, comparing to the other similar other brand knifes. Not for Dishwasher - heat may destroy the black Delrin® on knife handles. Even though it says stainless steel, just make sure to vipe it dry after washing, before storing in the wood block, or drawer. Purchased all the pieces for the kitchen - 8", 6" Chief Knifes, Paring and Bird Beak. Be careful, don't challenge the sharpness! Looking forward also to buy the 7" Santoku, when it will be available on Amazon.

just what I wanted. I replaced a broken paring knife which was exactly the same. Beautiful - sharp - easy to use - very pleased with my replacement.

4" blade was perfect... Nice and sharp and matches pretty well to my existing set of knives

el cuchillo está hermoso y se ve muy resistente, bien hecho, pero el filo no es lo que dice en la descripción. Apenas llevo un día de uso y para cortar un jitomate tuve que encajar la punta porque no cortaba.
