spare for digital calipers
decided to get a couple spare batteries for my digital calipers and this is what the company recommended. I believe in keeping spares in case.

Battery expires one month after purchase date
I bought the Renata 303 and received the batteries 02/22/20...the expire 03/2020 .. see photo of 2 piece set of batteries.

Resale of bulk item. Old batteries
Item came with damaged packaging. Batteries have only a 1 and a half year shelf life. This is extremely low for batteries, suggesting the item has been stored for several years before being sold to me. I would suggest spending a little more and getting more batteries. At least those will have a longer shelf life and a chance to use later
