Good Tools
Very good tools to everything. I use in CNC and drill press.

Poor packaging No bits
This thing is poorly packaged, clamp is all banged up and it did not come with the 10pc engraving bits. Also the clamp is way too loose, it just slides right off the spindle. There's no instructions, they should at least mark the positive and negative connections. The power supply was just wrapped in seran wrap. The spindle chuck sticks out too far and doesn't want to budge, it should be pushed in further for better performance. I don't know how anyone is supposed to change the chuck. The chuck needs to be seated further into the shaft, but I don't want to hammer it in. It's a loud spindle for 800w. Louder than my 1200w plunge router. It has small connectors on the spindle. We'll see how it performs.

Works great!!!
The media could not be loaded. This spindle has worked great for me so far!!! I wanted to get a higher max spindle speed for some projects and this does the trick. As others have described, it does get warm when running on full, but the video I attached depicts it running after 4 hours at 18000 RPMs. No problems so far. The desciption does say that it maxes out at 20000 RPMs, but even when maxing out the power supply I only get around 18000. It is a bit noisy compared to my old spindle, but it is running a lot faster, and I don't have anything else to compare it to. The power supply is pretty cheap, but it performs well. I do wish it had a voltage display like others I have seen, though. All in all, it is a pretty good value for the price.

Works well - cut soft aluminum with ease
The first unit I got was bad and after speaking with customer service I got a replacement unit. This unit works well and fit correctly into that CNC.You can cut wood and even metal (do it slowly). It comes with some carving bits to get you started.

Went Extremely Hot and didn't sound good!!!
Not sure what happened, it got very hot and the sound wasn't good either. Looks like a waste...

Great product
Instructions are not very clear, you have to supply your own power cord/wires, and the potentiometer not mounted to anything is not the best but definitely a great product for the price. It's not plug and play but when hooked up correctly it works much better then expected.

Cuts like buddah!
This set is great, but the only downfall is the cooling fan atop the spindle. It' s out of balance and doesn't extend past the OD of the motor, so there is no good airflow and way too much unnecessary vibration. On top of that, the vanes are straight, not curved, so there is no possibility for proper airflow. I 3D printed a new one from Thingiverse and it's much more balanced. Power wise, this thing is a beast. I've cut wood, plastic, aluminum and steel with no issue. Aside from vibration and noise, it's a keeper.

Not impressed
Upon receiving the spindle and power supply first impression is not good. The spindle is very heavy and is probably going to limit the speed of the gantry since the cnc router i use is a belt driven model. The power supply is open in the rear allowing the saw dust from milling to easily enter the power supply. No power supply wiring from the power supply to the spindle. The power supply seems a little on the light weight side and the speed control just hangs by the wiring. I will be deciding as to return this and the power cord to Amazon for a full refund as this is not for most desk top cnc routers. Most gantries will have some deflection in them and the milling will not come out square.Update to original review:Theo spindle has enough power rot handle most all hardwoods and speeds and feeds that are involved with projects. The power supply is still a thin metal and should be a little thicker for the environment being used in. The speed control knob should be mounted to the power supply so the wires do not become stressed from hanging but a nice unit if youPay attention to where you place the power supply in relation to the machine to minimize the amount of sawdust being thrown at it.
