YES im a beginner sewer and these saved my fingers lol!!! Recommend for ANYONE whos learning to sew sew NO MATTER what the age!!!

Too big for singer 4411 low shank machine
Very difficult to put on and it extends so far beyond the foot of this machine that it stops easy access to the bobbin under the foot. I had to bend it to make it work. I’ve been unable to find a finger guard that will work with this low shank machine. It needs to be shorter than one and a half inches or 3.6 cms
