More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Paperback – Illustrated, August 24, 2010

I’ve loved this book since I was a kid so super happy to be adding it to my collection. want some spooky stories for the coming up spooky season? These are absolute perfection.

love this so much its mysterious and pulls you in the more you read the more books like this you want i will be purchasing more of these books definitely reccomend this book to anyone and every one.

It's amazing for young adult readers who like scary stories. But parents don't have to worry because it isn't to bad. I mean I'm young and still went to bed fine with no worries. Consider this 1of the best books of all times for young adult readers!!

These are the classic "scary" stories from my childhood in the late 80's early nineties. They aren't REALLY scary but the illustrations are totally creepy and wonderful. I bought the original paperback edition because I don't care for the newer edition's tamed down illustrations. My five year old loves creepy things and this is a favorite. I highly recommend this collection for young kids who want something spooky but not Stephen King spooky. Do yourself a favor and buy a used copy of the old edition before they become scarce. The drawings are what really sells it because the stories themselves are fun but pretty tame.

As a child growing up in the '80s I quickly became very familiar with this series. Although it was controversial I thought it was a great. luckily I had very progressive parents that allowed me to read these. Now that I'm an adult I am rereading them and it's awesome!!

I had these books when I was in grade school! I am now in my 30's and found them on amazon because they are not sold in stores anymore. The new version of these stories unfortunately does not have the same illustrator so the new drawings don't come close to the super creepy illustrations in these original books. These books are AWESOME for campfires or sleepovers! I read them to my nieces and nephews and they will forever remember them! I gave this book 5 stars because of the awesomely horrifying illustrations and the spooky stories that will leave you wanting to keep the lights on!

Arrived fine and timely. This is the last book I needed for the set now. Love these stories and they are being passed to my child. We love them.

I grew up with these books; they're probably what made me decide I was never doing horror ever again lol. But hubby, who loves scaring himself, hadn't. He's looking forward to the movie. :)

本書は英語圏の小学校中〜高学年くらいを対象にした読みものかと思います。あまり英語が得意ではない高校一年生の生徒（もちろん日本人です）と一緒に読みましたが、文法的には「たまにわからない」程度、語彙的には「辞書を片手に」程度で、内容的にも洋書の読書入門編としては最適だと思いました。お話の内容としては、どこかで聞いたようなお話ばかりですが、英語で読むことにより感じる新鮮さがあるので案外楽しめます。

i had all of these books growing up. my cousins and i would read them in the basement at my grandma's house. the illustrations are the same as the original books.
