Every 2 years according to Panasonic but I think 18/12 is more realistic and yes they are expensive - a complete and sealed unit, it costs between £50 and £60.

Do you need to oil this shaver?

Probably. I've had it for 3 weeks and used at least once per day. The oil is unused so far. So I'm guessing I'll use oil once a month just to be safe

I've actually purchased this recently and was speaking on chat with a Panasonic representative, they currently don't have it and could only find them in China but I don't really trust those.
