Great Smell, Great Suds
I really like this soap! I originally bought it for camping, but now I use it at home. It lathers up really nicely, leaves a clean feeling with no residue, and the smell is great. Will I get this again? Absolutely. Will I try any scent other than Fresh Falls? Maybe, but I really like this scent. My only negative was the square shape. I cut each bar into two pieces, about 1-1/4” x 2-1/2”, and it’s more comfortable to use.

Love this product
I recently tried Dr. Squatch's Charcoal Pine Tar Soap, and I must say, it's a game changer in my daily grooming routine. The soap's natural composition, featuring charcoal and pine tar, provides a unique and deeply cleansing experience.Firstly, the scent is absolutely invigorating. The pine tar gives a robust, woodsy aroma that is both refreshing and masculine. It's a pleasant departure from the overly perfumed options in the market. The charcoal, known for its detoxifying properties, leaves my skin feeling exceptionally clean and rejuvenated. I appreciate how it effectively removes impurities without stripping my skin of its natural oils. The soap lathers well, and a little goes a long way, making it quite economical. It's gentle yet effective, suitable for daily use even on sensitive skin. Additionally, I admire Dr. Squatch's commitment to using all-natural ingredients, free from harsh chemicals and preservatives. This aspect is particularly important to me as someone who prefers eco-friendly and skin-friendly products. The packaging of the soap also deserves a mention. It comes in minimalistic and eco-conscious packaging, aligning with the brand's sustainable ethos. In conclusion, Dr. Squatch's Charcoal Pine Tar Soap is a high-quality, natural soap that offers a luxurious and effective cleansing experience. It's perfect for those who are looking for a natural, chemical-free option that doesn't compromise performance. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a refreshing, natural cleanse.

Best Option if you can't make your own!
Great scent. Doesn't stain bathroom fixtures. Lasts longer than liquid body wash and prevents waste.

Good product
Smells good and lathers pretty well. Kind of rough for face so I lather in my hands then wash my face rather than directly using the bar. The last bit of the soap bar will break into shards causing waste which is kind of disappointing. Good product otherwise. I will keep buying until I find a better soap.

Good black bar
Love the soap. It is square, so it may slide off some shower’s soap dishes. Also, when you get down to about 1/4th of a bar it breaks apart. I think it is because there is oatmeal in it and the solid oatmeal doesn’t melt and the bar breaks up near the solid parts. The black soap smells good and appears to turn you black at first but then washes off. Good fun. I like it. Just wish it stayed together till the end. I took off a start for bar integrity. All in all a good product. I would buy again.

Worth it
Smells nice, leaves my skin feeling nice without over-drying. I really don't like any of the "gritty" varieties; I'm trying to wash my skin, not sand it down! Other than that, it's superior enough to the grocery-store stuff that I'm willing to pay the premium (and I'm neither wealthy nor picky...soap and sunscreen are the only skin-care products I buy). I ran out of shampoo and tried washing my hair with this soap...it works so well that I don't buy shampoo anymore. Granted, my hair is short and oily; YMMV.

Smells Great!
Smells great! Doesn’t produce a lot of suds which is good for the environment. Gets you clean without all of the harsh additives & chemicals most soaps have. It’s on the pricey side. The shape is a little hard to use for small hands. The only thing is that the bar of soap doesn’t last very long and crumbles in pieces at the end. We take the pieces and squeeze together to use so not to waste any. We still love it.

Cleans well, not too drying, safer ingredients
I like the safer ingredients, and it definitely makes me feel clean without being too drying. I'm not a fan of perfumes and scents, but it doesn't really matter with this soap because the scent doesn't seem to stay on your skin, which for me is favorable. But anyway, it's kind of a masculine scent, as it's intended to be. (As a woman, it doesn't bother me to use it.) As for value, it is kind of expensive, but at least it's less here than at my local Walmart. So far, I've been re-purchasing it for roughly a year because I wanted safer soap ingredients for my family.
