I bought these to replace my Rainbows after years worn and loved sandals, which were still in perfect condition but I lost one shoe! It seriously broke my heart I love them so much! If you haven't worn Rainbow sandals before, PLEASE do not be deterred that they are quite stiff and a bit uncomfortable in the beginning. The leather is made sturdy, but meant to eventually mold exactly to your foot so once you break them in it will feel like you're wearing nothing on your feet! Or just the most comfortable shoe you'll ever own! I broke mine in by getting them just slightly damp and wearing them around the house as much as possible. Do this consistently for a week or so and you'll suddenly be amazed over how comfortable they are. The more you wear them, the more they contour to your feet. My sister in law has had hers for 10+ years and they look new. You can literally buy a pair of Rainbow sandals and they can last a lifetime. I put mine through hell and they put up with everything! My older pair that I lost a shoe with were the exact same color and size as my sister in laws. We would leave them at the door and go to put them back on, but not be able to tell whose was who's. I put her shoes on and immediately new they were hers, because the mold of the shoe was different than mine. I can't live my life without my Rainbows! You will become addicted, I promise! Just don't get frustrated during the process of breaking them in and you'll fall in love!

I'm happy with my purchase. I tried these on in the store before ordering them online. Since the size options are limited, I was expecting these to be slightly larger that what I normally wear. It's about 1/4 of an inch longer than I would like, but when the size range is 7.5-8.5, that is to be expected. I'm right in the middle. Other than that I love these flip flops and I'm excited to break them in. If you've never had rainbows before, they take a little while to break in, but after that they are perfection. I have only ever owned the leather option before, but I don't wear leather anymore so I'm very happy these come in hemp.

I love the rainbow brand. I think the hemp sandals are the best choice. The hemp gives a great texture and makes your feet feel like they are getting a gentle massage. The hemp texture also acts a grip so when walking on trails or when the sandals get wet your foot does not slide. The high arch gives much needed support. I have naturally high arches and flat sandals are fine once a while but if you wear flip flops everyday than I would strongly recommend these for daily wear. I have owned all the hemp colors I would recommend the darker colors the light color tends to get discolored in a way that I really don't care for. If you have ever owned a pair white flip flops, then maybe you know what I mean. This was my 1st time buying the narrow strap. I have always bought the regular strap. The stitching on the narrow strap looked weird to me. I decided to go for it this time because I thought the thinner strap looked more girly. Now, I cant imagine going back to the full strap. I really love them. Overall if you are looking for a stylish sandal that provides support and can go anywhere the day takes you, I would choose these hands down.

I've bought these sandals a couple of times in a row. I really like them. My feet do not get irritated wearing them. The only problem is that because I enjoy wearing them so often, the hemp top wears off. As I am buying them for the hemp, I then need to get a new pair. But with only occasional use, the hemp on top lasts much longer. I've used these sandals to walk and run on just about any surface. They are very well made and comfortable to wear. I highly recommend!

This is my second pair of rainbows I love the brand my first pair are the leather ones I wore them all of last summer and they still look nice but I've been eyeing the hemp ones for awhile so I finally got them and they didn't disappoint I love them too can't wait for summer so I can wear them so pretty.

These sandals were not worth the hype or the price

I have been wearing Rainbow sandals since I was young. I have been without a pair for a long while now and I finally got these. They arrived in less time than was quoted at checkout and they fit just as I remember! I am very pleased with them and I can't wait to break in my footprint on these like I have with my others through the years.As for washing/cleaning them, I hand wash with a mild soap in my sink, it works very well to get them clean and prevents them from getting smelly and also ensures the fibers don't get too agitated by machine washing or using abrasive scrubbing tools.
