Passionate Eniemes to Lovers!
Savage Rivals by Becca Steele is one of my fav MM sports romance books ever. Wow, even when they were fighting, you could feel the heat. The chemistry between Asher & Levi is so intense & smoking hot. The first kiss between Asher & Levi was so unexpected & smoking hot. I love their movie date. I enjoyed seeing how they fell in love. The spicy were so sexy & sweet. The reveal that they were dating to their friends and family was well done. I loved Levi & Asher were very protective of each other. I love that even years later, they got married, too.

Full of steam, heat, angst, newly discovered passions and tons of spice this is definitely an emotional breathtaking story that is well worth reading!Levi & Asher are two individuals that are both beautifully broken and at odds with each other, yet somehow find themselves drawn to one another and experiencing uncharted feelings—taking the reader right along with them. The push and pull between these two had me absolutely going crazy as you slowly got to see their relationship evolve throughout the story. I absolutely loved the build and journey that Becca took us on as she masterfully unveiled their story and how each character became more for the other person. Protective, loving, caring, supportive…this story has all the feels and is a definite must read!

Quick, relaxing and angst free.
Savage Rivals was fun. It was a quick, relaxing, angst free read. Asher and Levi are captains of their respective football teams. Football meaning soccer, which I only figured out by use of the word “mate” for friend. Since Asher and Levi are in their senior year and no one mentions A levels – I’m going with Australia? There is not really a great sense of “place” in the story. Levi is the captain of the Richy Riches at Alstone High and Asher captains the working class Highnam Academy. The Highnam neighborhood is a bit dicey, hence Ash must carry his beloved Ruby – a red bladed knife which he likes to “introduce” his adversaries to (methinks someone watched GOT one time too many). Highnam Academy and Alstone High gave been longstanding football rivals; but things really heat up when the animosity (based on misunderstandings) between Ash and Levi starts spreading through their teams and spilling over outside of the football field.Asher and Levi have a definite attraction to each other right from the beginning although both deny it, and both are horrified by it. Levi has suspected he may be, at a minimum bi – but not ASHER! Ash has never thought about his orientation, but he can acknowledge that Levi is hot. He’s not horrified that he’s attracted to a guy; he’s horrified that it’s Levi. There are great secondary characters in the form of their respective friends and it’s kind of funny that their friends suspect the attraction well before they do and when things finally come to light, no one is surprised. It’s fun to watch Ash and Levi get to know one another and challenge their misconceptions; but they also seem to fall together and go straight to lovey-dovey a little too easily. For 2 guys who hated each other, weren’t sure of a same sex relationship and enjoy beating the snot out of each other, they have a shockingly healthy, stable and mature relationship.Savage Rivals takes place in senior year of high school, both characters are 18 and their parents for the most part are MIA – and very heavy sleepers since none of them know when people are traipsing in and out of their homes. There is also a very implausible, adult sanctioned, well known fight club for high school students run out of a skatepark – that doesn’t scream liability and lawsuit at all. There is a definite HEA and the epilogue is really sweet.

Fantastic!
Wow what a wonderful surprise this book was! This is my first time reading this author and I was immediately drawn into Levi and Asher's story. It had so many things I love...true enemies to lovers done well, first time with a man for both MCs, sports, great group of friends, and a swoony HEA!Levi and Asher are at rival high schools, both 18 and in their senior year, both the captain of their football teams. There is a great animosity between the rival schools in England, led by the hatred between these two captains. Now you do need to suspend belief at little bit about what these kids get up to without repercussion, but I just went with it and thoroughly enjoyed the story. Levi and Asher are fueled by their loathing of one another, get off on the fight, start to get turned on in the midst of throwing down, neither really understands what's going on. But each time they battle, they grow closer and closer to moving from enemies to lovers. The UST was so strong and I felt their connection so deeply and when fighting turned to more, it was fantastic! I loved all their firsts together, they were so hot with the perfect amount of sweet! If you're looking for a strong enemies to lovers, sports romance that's SAF, grab this book. I loved it!
