Dyson Hose, Change Over Dc41

Perfect fit for my Dyson Ball UP 13 (Caution: If you have some other model this will not fit so make sure before you order). Installation is not the easiest thing to do but YouTube video will help if you are a do it yourself repair person. When the changeover hose stars leaking the suction goes down and the machine gets noisier. Replaced this after 7+ years of use. Not bad at all. Out of warranty buy Dyson products hold up. Original from Dyson would have cost about twice as much + Shipping. Machine runs quite now and suction is restored to original. For a person who vacuumes the carpet every week this is wonderful.

Perfect fit for Dyson UP 13. Very easy to change after watching a YouTube video. You will need a torx 8 and 10 screwdriver. My vacuum works again and the hose feels durable.

This was exactly the replacement we needed. It fit perfectly on our Dyson UP13 (Multifloor), which we’ve had for about 9 years and has definitely been through a lot… mostly thanks to my toddler. The original hose had lost all durability over time and ended up with multiple tears. After my husband tried to “fix” it, let’s just say the situation did not improve. We were this close to putting the vacuum out on the driveway, but I figured I’d check Amazon first and found this replacement. The appearance is just like the original, clean and well-made, so it doesn’t look like some random add-on part. It blends right in like nothing ever happened. Installation was surprisingly easy. I watched a couple of quick videos and had it swapped out in about 15 minutes. After replacing the hose, giving the vacuum a deep clean, and changing the filters, it honestly feels brand new again. The suction is strong and everything works like it should. So far, it feels sturdy and durable, and I’m hoping it holds up for many more toddler “adventures.” Overall, a great replacement part that saved me from buying a whole new vacuum. Definitely worth it and very happy with this purchase.

Well this is not the easiest to install unless ur like a mechanic or mechanically inclined. I was able to change out the tube piece in about 15 minutes with minimal teardown of the vacuum. My old one was well "done" as it really was not sucking up anything. Also if I had the vacuum upright and put my hand on the wand hose the motor didn't really big down like one would expect when creating a blockage. After the tube was installed and I did wipe the area down where the lip seal contacted, I then operated the mechanism to cycle the hose and it was moving smoothly. I plugged it in and away I went vacuuming and realising the suction on tile was greatly I creased as it took much more effort to move the vacuum across just tile. Basically the suction was restored and the vacuum was able to suck itself down that much greater then before. I moved to the carpet and it was picking up fine dust like it did back in the day when I bought it 12 years ago. This was the best 16 bucks spent on my vacuum. The part was decently made with no rips or tears and the lip seal was completely attached unlike other reviews and yes I was worried but willing to toss a little to save having to spend five hundred on a new vacuum. This is a good product that was decently made and fills a gap that unfortunately dyson dropped the ball on for some stupid reason. Yes we live in a. Disposable society but things are tight and getting tighter so being able to save a functional appliance is worth it in my mind.

work good easy to put on fix my problem I was having a problem with the hose was not connecting with the floor suction. Replaced it with this new hose and everything works great.

I have a UP13 model Dyson vacuum. It was easy to replace but doesn't work. I don't know if the part is too long or too stiff but when you use the vacuum it doesn't connect to allow vacuum suction. After some internet research I found out you need to soak part in hot not boiling water for a few minutes before installing. It softens the material and makes it more flexible. It now works as it should

Bought this for the smaller dyson since you can't by the smaller ones anywhere, even from dyson... we cut the tube, heated up the ends si they were pliable and fit them into the ends of the original vacuum (with glue) Vacuum works like new
