I have a small kitchen but I am always preparing food. So I needed something to get the big papertowel roll up and out of my way. This was PERFECT FOR THAT. Both pieces are magnetic...and the hold is super strong. It is versitile in that it allows for adjustment of different size paper towel rolls. My refrigerator is positions right next to my stove so that provided easy access to paper towels for me while i am preparing a meal. I love it. I threw my old counter holder away

I honestly did not know this item existed. I was looking for a new paper towel holder for my kitchen when I found this. Shop towel holder attached to my tool box, in my garage? Had to have it. I am ordering another tonight, as I moved the tool box set to the grill on the porch. I now have paper towels right at my grill. I say, " Too good" cuz the magnets are so strong you have to use both hands to get them square. No doubts about this product.

I lived in a very small apartment with a very small kitchen where space was at a premium, and I didn't want to put screws in the wall or cabinet for a paper towel holder. I got this idea of making my own magnetic holder to attach a roll to the fridge, and luckily I searched for "magnetic paper towel holder" before getting started, cos BAM, there it was: exactly what I'd hoped to find. My only wish is that this were a little deeper, because whenever I install a new roll (the Costco/Kirkland kitchen towels), it's thicker than the spindle depth and if I'm not careful I can accidentally pull the works off the fridge. But I'm careful, and I'm happy with this device.

This is very convenient and easy to install, you literally just stick it to your fridge. However, if you buy the large rolls of paper towels, like my family does, it is kind of a pain and annoying. The large rolls will not spin in this so you have to pick it up and manually turn it until the roll gets smaller and is about the same size as a regular roll. It seems to be very sturdy and made well but my kids will come and try to pull down a paper towel from the bottom (they are 5 and 8) and one of the side of the holder will fly off onto the floor. So you have to be careful with how hard you pull for a paper towel. You have to be very gentle with it or it will fall off. I’m kind of wishing I would have just bought an under the cabinet one now but oh well... it’s too late. This does really help for saving space though and it does hold the paper towels up, plus, the it looks nice. The only problem is with when you actually go to tear or pull a paper towel.

It works great on my black Husky Tool chest to hold blue shop towels. The only thing that would be better is if the zinc plated screw was black oxide finished. I "painted" the silver looking screw with a sharpie and it blends in well to look finished.

Nice solid quality metal holder. The only issue I have is when you use it with a jumbo size roll of paper towel - the holder isn't deep enough to allow the roll to move when pulling on the end. I have to manually move the roll, but once the roll goes down a little in size it works great it hold it's position.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I purchased this towel holder for a simple solution to having them nearby and easy to tear when needed. The magnetic style was the obvious choice for my stainless steel workbench. I have read others describing a smell, thus far I haven’t noticed a smell in a closed/open garage environment. The magnets are very strong and the construction of the holders are stout. I had no trouble pulling and tearing towels away as they’re intended. I have included a video and pictures. Very pleased and highly recommend this! Good buy!

I like the idea of using this on a metal surface (refrigerator) very innovative. That said I have two issues with the product:(1) The depth cannot accommodate the paper towels that I use (Costco) I assume this would be an issue for any larger sized rolls. I had to remove the first dozen or so sheets just to get the roll to spin;(2) Partially related to (1) above the magnets should be a little stronger. They are easily pulled off of the refrigerator when dispensing a sheet on a relatively full roll. When the roll shrinks to the sufficient size this is not an issue.

I purchased this product to save counter space and I’m so glad I did. It has strong magnets and works super well. Easy to change the roll but strong enough to stay on when ripping a paper towel off.

Powerful magnet, never shift in my RV. Easy to remove and adjust the paper towel. My wife love it.
