Great quality and value, perfect fit in LG Fridge
Very easy to install in my LG fridge. They give you a reset tool, but that was not needed for mine. Cleared out carbon after 3-4 full glasses of water dumped and was good to go. Big improvement and I change every 3 months since it's so easy to do and any slight taste is gone.

DOES NOT REPLACE LG LT1000P - WRONG SIZE!
The neck of this water filter is too long and it WILL NOT work as a replcement for the LG LT1000P model water filter! Already sent it back!Sadly, I have yet to find a good replacement here on Amazon that fits AND has good reviews. For the ones that do fit, everyone has said they either don't last as long as they claim...or...the water tastes funny, not properly filtered. So, I guess I will have to spend the money & but directly from LG instead. UGH!

For being the top of the line after market, I'm not impressed. It's missing an important certification and boast am extra one that isn't as crucial. Also seems that the flow rate isn't as good possibly. Fit was acceptable. Fancy packaging, nothing special

Much better and cheaper than OEM
LG's product fails to remove chlorine taste and smell. This filter produces better tasting water at about 1/4 the price per unit.I'm not a chemist and have no way to test whehter it also remove the other pollutants it claims. But I can taste and smell, and it does a far better job on chlorine than the LG version.

Something has changed - RWF4700CH filter makes "soap suds"
Sadly the "new" Icepure Pro RWF4700CH fridge filters that I bought in 12/2023 are not the same as the previous products that I bought. I bought four filters (essentially a 6 month supply) and today ( 1/8/24), I just placed the 4th one in my fridge. 2 of the filters just did not filter anything. I knew something was wrong when a I prepped the filters for use that I got "soap suds" rather than the usual charcoal residue. After 10 gallons, The have chemical smell and the high particulate count did not change. in the past, it took approximately 3 gallons of water the "set" the filter and the particulate count would reduce in about a day or two. The count never went below 190 - where the previous product (RWF4700AH) would go to less than 50 - 35. Looks like I will have to go back to the more expensive OEM brand.

Seems to work better with NSF 401 certification
A little more expensive than the non-pro version, but the water seems to taste better. It is my own personal opinion (not like a double blind test conducted with a large population), of course, but I think I'll stick to this model in the future.

Does not filter out chlorine
Just replaced my lg filter with this one and the taste of my water was like drinking from the tap. Chlorine was super high. Nedd to replace this right away, wast of money do not buy.
