What more can i say if i have 7 of them
The media could not be loaded. In 2022 I bought my first Tempo Persist reel and already bought 3 more for me and 5 to give them as a gift.I can say that I submerge them in Saltwater and any issues with them even that I clean them maybe every 3 month.Definitely I can recommend this model to anyone that is looking for a good reel with a fordable price.I really love the Brand and Model

A bit cheap, but fully functional
The reel spins really smoothly, and I don't hear any grinding or rattling when the line is loaded up. When rocking the handle back and forth, there is a bit of slop inside which causes a bit of knocking - I'm a bit worried about the longevity of the internal gearing... even though it works fine for now. There's a lever switching between a ratcheting wind, and open to rotating the winder both directions. The winder automatically engages once you start spinning the handle. It tensions very tight, and the tensioner is easy to rotate by hand on-the-fly.I also ordered a Cadence spinning reel of a similar size at the same time to compare, and honestly they feel exactly the same as each other, but have different castings - I think they're made in the same factory. The Cadence is more pricy, but has better quality castings.Unlike other more premium brands, this is lacking instructions, or a tear-down diagram. Certainly not the best value reel I've tried, but it's not bad.

Very Nice Reel
Bought it for salt water fishing. Works well. I keep it rinsed off after each use. Seems to work well.

exactly match my fishing pole
My friend gave me a fishing pole a year ago without the reels, it's summer now and I need to go fishing, so I bought this one, it's easy to install and looks great with my pole. I like it.

Inside has a plastic bearing
I had bought the smaller version alongside the bigger version, but there's a difference.the bigger version(2000) has no ball bearing while the smaller version(1000) has a normal metal ball bearing.finding this out was quite disappointing, if you put a ball bearing in the smaller one why not put the same materials into making the bigger one?don't get me wrong, the reel is decent for its price, it was just extremely disappointing to not have the same consistent material and care for the items the company produces.
