GROSS!
Mayo taste like nasty sweet chemicals. I didn’t care for Walden Farms so I tried this and this is so so so much worse

Tastes almost TOXIC
I’d rather eat a cube of butter. The taste far outways any possible benefits of reduced fat and calories. In sum…YUCK!!

Great way to cut calories and/or salt!
I was surprised that there are any negative reviews for this product, which is billed as calorie free and sodium free. Well, OF COURSE it wouldn’t have the exact same taste/texture as regular mayonnaise, which is loaded with both! (The attached pic (it’s on L, fat mayo on R) shows it coming out a little lumpy, but it’s fine when you stir it. Just trying to manage expectations 😉) If you don’t like it straight, mix it with regular mayo and slash your cals/sodium by half or more, and enjoy chicken and tuna salad again. Thank you Mrs. Taste!

Tastes sweet
I found this too runny to use as a spread. The worst is that it tastes sweet. Real Mayo has no sugary taste.

Ignore the Black at the top and bottom of the jar--it IS Safe.
According to my phone call with Hellman's the mayonaisse is safe. They are using new plastic recycled "jars", which show the mayo as being blackish or moldish when viewed through the jar, but the mayonaisse is fine. Nothing wrong with it. It is still delicious and creamy and no worries! The new recycled plastic containers make the mayo appear to be darkish green or black --but all is okay.Perhaps Hellman will realize that "visual" is important to people when eating food, especially mayo which can be a dangerous product if it is spoiled. So, just know that it is only the package and once you open the jar and look inside, you will see the creamy white normal-looking delicious mayo!

Taste testers
The people who were employed to taste test this “mayonnaise “ must come from a long line of vegans. Way back to their great, great grandparents because mayonnaise isn’t anywhere in their DNA and that’s why they believed this stuff could be sold as a vegan mayonnaise. Next time, use people who know what mayo taste, smells and looks like. I don’t even know what this stuff was supposed to taste like. I didn’t recognize the, shall we call it flavor, taste at all. Boo
