I usually go through cell phone cases once every year or so. I’m very particular about my cell phone cases, but I would say this is the best case I’ve ordered on Amazon! Granted, I’ve only had this case for less than 2 weeks, the look and feel is amazing and the price is extremely reasonable.Color: The gray color is beautiful. Not too dark like graphite, and not too light that you can see dirty marks or finger prints. The perfect “medium” gray. Black portion of the case outlines the front of the phone and the back camera. See “Misc” portion for more details on the two parts of the case.Texture: It does not feel sticky! I was afraid that it would be the weird matte texture that traps debris and dust, but not with this case. The texture is pretty minimal that you can see the print (alternating smaller circles and larger circles). Texture adds more of the “grip” feel and is not glossy or slippery. Front black plastic portion is smooth and matte.Buttons: They are a shiny silver plastic with about 1.5 mm in depth sticking out from the case. Very nice and obvious “click” when pressing buttons. Does not feel flimsy or cheap. Due to the “shiny” surface, it does show smudges and fingerprints.Front portion: About 1mm of a lip passed the screen for protection. It is not bulky and has a smooth curved feel on the edges. Did not get in the way of my glass screen protector.Back portion: About 3 mm of lip passes the flash and back camera lens for protection. Does not affect photo quality or flash.Access to ports: Adequate space for head phone jack and charger. Access to ringer button also adequate without issues.Overall size: Any case will add bulk, but I feel it’s the perfect minimal design necessary for adequate protection. Does not feel flimsy. It feels sturdy without feeling bulky, heavy, or “clunky”.Misc: The case separates into two parts. The inner most portion is a black matte plastic thin case that can be seen on the front of the case, around the side buttons and ports, and outlining the back camera and flash. The second outer portion is the textures colored portion that covers the majority of the back and parts of the side. You do not see the gray from the front of the phone.I’ve already recommended this case to several friends!

I was so excited to get this case and it was exactly what I wanted except for a major flaw for me was that the back camera cutout did not like up correctly. It’s not completely covering it but you can tell in the very bottom of the picture that it causes some discoloration in the bottom of the frame. So disappointing. I guess I could have dealt with it, but not really what I want to do if I’m paying for something so I returned it. It really was a cute case and seemed durable though, just wish it would have worked properly.

If you're like me and you habitually find yourself cursing in public because you've dropped your phone yet again, you've gone through a bunch of phone cases. With that said, this one has got to be my favorite case of them all.Pros:- The silver side keys (for volume and power) on the phone case are easy to press, giving little resistance, because they are plastic (instead of rubber). I find myself to be a big fan of this so far, because I hate the awkward way other phone cases are designed where you can barely press the keys when you're looking to change the volume. I'll continue to see how well the keys fair, though, after many drops.- One of the things I was concerned about before ordering the case was that it'd cling to the tiniest speck of dirt. I've had phone cases like that in the past where it'd look old and dirty after a day of use, but the case still looks new after a few drops.Cons:The color is slightly different from the display online. I ordered the mint case, and while it's not drastically different, I would say that the color looks a shade or two brighter than the picture. Sea green would have been the description I would have chosen for it.

Overall am happy with the purchase...the only thing I noticed right off the bat that I don’t like, and it’s only because I use the button all the time, is the fact that the button that turns all the sounds to mute/vibrate is hard to reach...the opening needed to be a little wider like the size of the opening for the charging cord so that your finger could get down in there to switch the button on/off...if I didn’t have nails it would be more challenging for me to get to the button at all...otherwise all the other ports are accessible...it’s easy to put on/take off of your phone and the color is exactly as pictured

Like bulletproof glass or a high-quality Japanese blade with a hamon line, this case uses two layers of differing rigidity to provide maximum resilience for a minimum overall thickness. I love it from a design standpoint, and that’s coming from a mechanical engineer. I don’t like carrying fragile things around with me that I have to worry about all the time, and I’m not a gentle person with my phone. But with this case, I don’t feel the slightest concern about tossing it onto my desk or even if I drop it on concrete floors.I’ve used this case for about six months now (that’s a long phone case lifetime for me) and it’s still going strong. The outer layer has some cracks in it - so what? I just ordered a second one and when this one finally fails, I’m only out $8.Use this along with a decent glass screen protector and your phone will still be in mint condition when you upgrade years later.

Great, functional case with awesome back texture and design. Doesn’t add [too] much bulk while protecting my phone; and the buttons provide perfect 1:1 tactile feedback. Definitely would recommend.
