400AH Intelligent Auto Pulse Battery Desulfator to Revive and Regenerate the Batteries for Lead Acid Batteries

There seems to be mixed opinions. Can i have this desulfator permanently connected to my solar system or will it damage my solar controller?

will it retain the voltage setting in the event of a power outage?
