This does a wonderful job of keeping drinks really cold for a long time. I love my drinks to be very cold, so I add a lot of ice and it lasts for hours and hours. I haven't tried it yet with hot drinks, but instead of the silver lid in the promo pictures, they sent me a sipping lid like for coffee mugs, which is perfect for hot beverages. I really like the spout lid because it's easy to drink from and the lid screws on and off, but is attached so you don't have to worry about losing it. I really wanted a straw lid, so I ordered the set from Iron Flask on Amazon and it's perfect. It's $8 for two lids and 4 straws and it works really well. The last picture shows that lid.Overall, this is a great bottle for the price and I definitely recommend it.Update 03/25:After 3 months of use pretty much 24 hours a day, this is still doing a great job. No chips or cracks or even signs of getting dirty on the white shell, and no leaks. I forgot to mention that unfortunately the 32 oz doesn't fit into a car cupholder, but so far that's the only thing I don't like.

I bought this for my 11 year old son. He wore his other stainless steel water bottle out to the point that dirt was getting into it. We love to hike, and not only for a couple miles, travel and go to the park. He LOVES the water bottle so far, he has only used it everyday/all day for 3 days now. The color is beautiful. The packaging is beautiful. The 3 lids that came with the water bottle are wonderful! He loves the twist off sport cap lid. (His previous was only wide mouth). I don't know about the durability as we haven't been hiking with it yet. The sport cap top twists on nice and tightly. The actual lid twists on easily and smoothly. He hasn't knocked it over to really test the leak proofness of it. I'm happy because he is happy with his Hydrology 40ounce water bottle! My husband saw it and liked it a lot as well because it just got taller instead of wider for the 40 ouncer vs the 32 ouncer (which my daughter has) and because of the 3 different lids that comes with it!

This water bottle has been everything that I was looking for and more. It's durable and you can easily tell that it's been made with quality materials. It came with three different types of lids, two of which I use on almost a daily basis. I can be pretty hard on just about anything I use and this water bottle has stood up to everything. If I ever need to purchase another water bottle, I'll definitely buy this one, again.

I like the fact that I can fill the thermos once and add ice to it, and it lasts me for about 14 hours, nice and cold. I have only used the straw cap so far, it is convenient, sits by my side most all day. The only slight issue is that it is, by itself, a little too heavy. Add water to it, and it is almost impossible to carry it around. I am a retired person, and don't have a desk job. I need to move around. Doing chores, yard work, or around the house, and I have to come back to it when I need a drink, instead of it staying with me. It's not a big issue,just a minor irritant, since I am not used to drinking this much water, and now, since I have to, I have to walk to it. Other than that, it is awesome. Keeps water chilled, easy to clean, and looks nice too ! It is probably not meant for taking out for camping trips and such.

I need really durable water bottles for my daughters athletics and this one’s awesome! This one is very durable and so far is definitely leak proof unlike the last one. Love the colors and that it comes with various lids and 2 straws!

I needed a 40 oz bottle to minimize my liquid refilling throughout the day (protip: avoid the cruelty of a Nutritionist if possible).The problem was most bottles use cheap plastic handles on their caps which break easily. Yes even popular expensive brands now.So I was surprised to see 3 different cap options, two precisely what I wanted.The cap itself is strong, and ergonomically is a great size for two to three fingers. The twist top of the spout cap is strong and holds water.The inside was clean (had no smell at all, actually. Not even chemicals).It's leak proof with the two caps I use.Finally, it retains cold for a very long time, regardless of the cap. I put cold water in the morning, and drank cold water that same evening. Was a little surprised.Overall: Best bottle I've used so far, including considering popular brands. The icon is simple and not distracting (although, H2 generally represents Hydrogen pairs, but whatever). I searched 10 bottles on Amazon, and in-person stores, and this one was the only one that gave precisely everything I wanted. Good job. Would actually recommend.

Ok so first off I really like this bottle, I haven't had and issues with the bottle at all, keeps my water cold, like very cold and will do it for a day with ice. Nice texture on the bottle, and I love the connected twist spots cap. BUT I did run into a issue with the 32oz variant. So I set out to purchase the "Deep Sea" variant of the 32oz size BUT what I received instead was the "Cool Water" variant. Here's the kicker the box even said Deep Sea on it, So I asked for a replacement and the same thing happened. ordered deep sea 32oz received cool water 32oz. turns out somehow they are stickered wrong. So at least in the 32oz variant. if you want the deep sea color order the "cool water" color to receive that and visa versa. I have included the 2 bottle to see their actual color. Customer service for Hydrology worked with me to get the right bottle. I appreciate that. I will be buying a bottle again when I need one. also Not sure if this is happening with all sizes this was my experience with the 32oz size.TL:DR In my experience if you want the "Deep Sea" color 32oz or the "Cool Water" 32oz and vice versa

I only bought this bottle because of the color, I liked the teal blue it was advertised as, not the turquoise/aqua I received. Anyway 2 stars because the bottle is functional and of good quality.
