Very impress with this Wifi camera! The video quality is very good despite being a 720 resolution camera. It does a lot for it size. Color video will change to black and white in low light condition. I guess it has better contrast in low light to see better. Not impressed hearing with this camera. I get a lot of white noise almost covering the voice in the room. Speaking through this camera is ok. Just make sure to not speak to close to your phone, otherwise you will sound distorted. Speak normally about 12-15 inch from the phone and you should sound ok. Night vision is pretty bright in total darkness. There is a feature to flip the image of the camera if you have it install on the ceiling or wall.I really like this camera and highly recommand it.

I dont go out of town often but when I do I cant take my chinchilla. I have relied on this camera to make sure he is ok. It works great. I also use it to watch my dogs if I will be gone longer than usual. So many reviews say this is hard to use — you literally download an app and make a username... it is super simple and works extremely well for the price!! Night vision, I can talk to my babies thru the mic and hear and see them! The camera moves via your phone is it so cool, my friend recommended this because they use them too! Pretty sure James Bond would use this to check on his chinchilla

Great camera but their app is pathetic. Had to uninstall app and reinstall 3 times within 1st hour and camera without app is useless. Returned camera next day. I was using Samsung Galaxy S7 with 7.0 software and 2.5gh router

I'm currently buying and installing the third camera from Utalent in my homes. I consider that this product is good value for the money spent. The good: it works well once installed and I am able to have a monitoring presence as a absent home owner that has been operating for over 2 years. The software is fairly functional and nicely configurable for basic monitoring applications. The "heads-up": you don't get a well written user manual, much feedback during the setup process and good luck on finding on-line or phone support. You should have some decent familiarity with networking to troubleshoot and/or use all the features available to you.On bring-up/install the user manual notes that it is a 2.4GHz Wifi product only (i.e. 802.11b/g ... what did you expect for the money!) It also states that you must "TURN OFF" the 5GHz network on your router. It is not true nor necessary! What you DO NEED TO DO during configuration is make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz Wifi network you want the camera to use. The configuration copies the credentials of the 2.4GHz network to the camera and if your phone is at the 5GHz frequency at the time ... it doesn't communicate with the camera. Also, make sure you locate the reset button on the camera so you can restart the process from factory configuration if needed.Other than that "quirk", I found the bring-up process straight forward and intuitive. The iSmartViewPro app is functional and simple to setup multiple cameras for monitoring.Please note that this is NOT an appropriate camera for a true "security" system. There are times when the camera is found off-line (probably as much to do with home networking issues as the camera) and I have seen some significant lags. All that said I'm very pleased with the functionality of the camera and software for the money spent and am adding 2nd cameras to our "other place".

I've never written a review for any online purchase before except for this one. I have tried several different brand security cameras in the past, but none of them really worked well. One arrived broken, another one stopped functioning after short time use. I got really disappointed with those cameras and just stopped trying new ones. For a quite long period of time, I thought I'd rather not be bothered by returns and repairs. I started reconsidering purchasing cameras after knowing that there was a burglary in our neighborhood recently, and seeing my neighbors installing cameras on the edge of their roof and sensors at their front yard. It took me a quite long time to finally place this order as there were not many reviews for this one. However, since I had unpleasant experience with the ones that ranked the most popular on Amazon, I finally made up my mind to try this one, which has fewer reviews but high rating. To my surprise, it came in securely packed, and up to now I've been using it for about half a month. It works well beyond my expectation. It didn't bring me any trouble as the previous ones had, but really gives me peace of mind. Even when I have to travel overseas for a long time, I feel free and safe. I highly recommend this camera to anyone who is considering purchasing security cameras.

Good picture quality and not to difficult to self install and fantastic for the present price, but have not yet tested the record
