Works way better then the 8mm I had
So 2 full days of using these needles and they are working out way better then the 8mm I was using, so far I have not had a needle bend or brake off and less pain, they go in smooth as well, they do feel like the get stuck on my pens but I’m patient and take my time taking them back off.I’m using a humalog kwikpen (Lilly u-100) and a lantus solostar u-100 pen and the needles work for both.Definitely will buy againUpdate: seeing that the price has doubled I guess I will be moving on to a different brand

Excellent product, consistently painless, a very good value compared to what my pharmacy provided. I will reorder these.
My insurance did not cover needles when I was prescribed insulin and my pharmacy supplied a different brand at a much higher cost (even after the "negotiated discount"). So I went to Amazon and found this product with identical specifications and quantity for much less. I have used them for one week now and in my experience so far I can say that they are virtually painless. The other needles seemed inconsistent -- sometimes they would be pain-free and other times they'd sting a little when inserting the needle. Not a scientific test for sure, but what I CAN say is that this product feels superior to me and is a great value. Product came in two days in spite of Christmas shipping season.

Works Very Well For the Money
I like the screw-on type needles and these are it. I personally think they are a bit better than the press-on type. These ones so far have all been patent and sealed. No issues with the medication not flowing through them. The 5mm length works well for both my stomach and upper arms. I used to use an 8mm but these are much less painful. Sometimes I don't even feel them. Really good price considering the same at CVS is like $50.

Good Needles
Review UpdateI've used them for three weeks now and dropped my score from a 5 to a 4. The reason for this is because i've noticed that sometimes when put the plastic cover back on the needle and go to unscrew it from the applicator, the needle does not always come off. When this happens, I have to try several itmes before I can get the needle off. With the BD needles (which to me is the "gold standard") this has never happened.I have used these needles twice so far. I had been using BD Needles as prescribed by my doctor. I realized that they are not a prescription item and are much less expensive over the counter I began to look for needles. I found these and they were less expensive than BD Needles and seemed to have similar or better reviews, so I took a chance.Have used them twice so far and they did not hurt, seemed really sharp and were easy to use.

In this case, expensive might be better.
I really wanted to like these needles! I’m here for the very same reason that insurance doesn’t really do much for the coverage of needles. I thought I could start getting them off amazon and save a little bit of money over time. I thought it was a fluke, but every needle I’ve used has gotten stuck on the pen and has had to be twisted off by hand. I don’t know whether I’m dealing with some insulin resistance right now or not, but I’m not sure it’s passing the insulin through completely or is a bit delayed. I always wait about ten second after injection to pull it out so I know it dispensed the full amount. Every time I’ve taken it out, it continues to drip. I’ve given these about two weeks just to make sure these were really not doing what they were made to do. Perhaps it was just a bad batch? Either way, i emailed my dr to send in my regular prescription of Bd 4mm needles. I don’t mind knowing I’m paying 3-4 times as much because I know at least those work and I can finally get my sugars stabilized again. I hope your experience is better!

Good needles.
Easy to use, little to no injection site pain. My only gripe is that these arrived in a soft mailer envelope, which resulted in a crushed box. The needles had spilled inside the mailing envelope. Good thing the needles are sealed, but I had to put the needles in the box I had from the last batch of needles. Good thing I kept that box...

Have ordered these several times. Work well for me ...
Have ordered these several times. Work well for me ( Lantus / Humalog )... Expect to have one or two defective, but at this price I can live with that as they are way cheaper cost-wise.

Great...for,the low price!
Perhaps it was just the principle of having to pay $40 (even with my Medicare Advantage) for a box of 100 of my insulin mini-needles that made me seek a better way. For a relatively inexpensive price of only $12, I have now bought via,Amazon and now use the Care Touch mini-needles with my Eli Lilly Humalog & Humalin N insulin and they seem the same as my big brand name mini-needles. One caution, however, sometimes the top doesn't adhere to the mini- needle, base and easily falls off.
