Bought this to use an extended desktop screen for my laptop, replacing an old LCD that finally burned out. This screen is great! Very good color, clarity. As others have said, the sound quality is rather lacking but I didn't buy it as speakers. Setup was easy. The buttons are a bit confusing to work at first, the setup directs are not clear how they function but easy enough to figure out. Well worth spending the extra $$ for the ergonomic version. Very good for both work and gaming!

I bought two of these and will be helping a friend connect them to his new mac mini. I opened one and the HDMI connection worked fine. The USB C did not. To test the cable out, I then connected the USB C cable I had recently gotten with an external drive. This worked with the monitor just fine! Now I will need to figure out the difference. The first cable that failed for this is normally connecting my mac to an iPad. This cable both charges and transfers data. Not too sure why the monitor made it struggle. For those other reviews saying they could not connect via usb c port... need to try another USB cable. If people ask, I will look up the external drive I ordered here that came with the cable. OH, one small silly thing... Amazon sent these 2 monitors in a giant box that could have held a mini fridge. I guess there were out of smaller boxes? lol

I've had ViewSonic monitors before & like them & I like this one, too. A review below said the monitor wasn't height adjustable but mine is. The screen also tilts up & down & the entire monitor is on a swivel stand. Really nice functionality! The cord connectors are easy to get to, too. I'm totally happy with this purchase!

I have been using this for only 2 months, but so far so good. This replaced a 10-year-old monitor, so the upgrade in resolution was amazing. It is also slightly larger than my previous monitor, but it can display a lot more than my previous one, like an entire spreadsheet, instead of a partial view requiring scrolling up/down and left/right with the old monitor. With the ergonomic version, the top of the screen is slightly above eye level, so I don't need to stack the monitor on several books to avoid over-flexing my neck. Though I haven't needed to rotate the monitor, it's nice that I can with the swivel base. My only complaint is the button placement, as I still have to feel around for them. They should be more easily accessible.

I took away a star rating since it was falsely advertised as USB-C equipped . It was shipped with only a HDMI cable. The only cable that works in the USB-C input port is a Thunderbolt cable, and I was lucky enough to have a Thunderbolt 4 cable already in my possession. Regular USB-C cables do not work, I tried them all. With the Thunderbolt cable I was allowed to use this display as a monitor for my Mac Mini M4 computer. I took away another star because there was no included instructions on how to use the control buttons on the rear to set up the display. I was able to do so only through trial and error. The display colors look great only when you are sitting in a straight 90 degree angle in front of the monitor. Above or off to the side, the display looks pale and washed out. I would have given back a star if it included a camera like an iMac or Macbook.

Great for Working, not sure why somebody would buy other, great great great value for the money, I'm a developer I bought 2 and now I'm able to work in one calling micro-service in one screen, other responding micro-service in the other screen, and keep up to date with the discussions with my team in slack on my mac's original screen, this is heaven.Also I recommend a couple of monitor mounts that allow you to move things around and vertical etc.Again, GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY
