Good Value
This timer gives you a lot for your money. I paid $23 for it and it does what it's supposed to do. It is for someone like me that will rarely need it, but you want to have it in your bag. Or it is for someone that wants to try them and learn on them. You can always upgrade to an expensive one when the time comes and you are ready financially and professionally. I dropped it twice already accidentally on a hard floor and still working great. Highly recommended.

Good Wired Intervalometer for Time-Lapse Photography
This replaces an identical unit that stopped working reliably. It can be used as a wired remote single image trigger or programmed to automatically take multiple shots as part of a time-lapse series. For a time-lapse series you can program 1) the length of time before the start of the time-lapse series, 2) the exposure length of each shot in the series (although this can be set in camera, too), 3) the interval between shots in the series, 4) the total number of shots in the series, and 4) whether you want it to beep each time it does something. It does have a screen light which can be activated and is helpful during night time-lapse captures. The battery length is good and with fresh batteries you can to an overnight time-lapse with no problem.I prefer this wired intervalometer to those that use a cell phone as the dashboard because I often am using my cell phone for other functions during astrophotography. The first one of these I had lasted for several years of intermittent heavy use so I'd say the durability is good. The adapter cord that attaches to the camera is camera-specific, so you MUST get the right cord for your camera. The instructions are printed in a micro-sized font and are hard to read. There are some excellent youTube videos that cover the functionality of this unit that are worth watching. When turned off, the unit does not seem to remember the settings (although maybe I just don't know how to 'save' them.) It's a bit annoying to have to reprogram the settings each time if you are doing the same types of time-lapse series.I have this same unit for the Nikon Z8 and the Nikon Z6/D750. The only difference is the attachment to the camera.

Seems to work
Have not used much and don’t expect to use a lot. But from what little I have used it I like it. Easy to use and does as advertised

Looks well made
Looks well made, unfortunately it did not work on my Nikon D200 or D300.Returned for that reason alone.

Device failed after second use
I have been an amateur photographer for many years and am quite familiar with operating digital SLRs. I was excited to use this JJC TM-Series intervalometer for photographing meteor showers with my Nikon D300S. I connected the device and set up the camera as per instructions. It worked fine for the first two nights, triggering multiple 25 sec time exposures correctly as programmed. However, on the third night, it failed. I could not program the controller at all using the keypad. Clicking any of the keypad buttons did not move the selection cursor, instead it just triggered the camera shutter. Repeated attempts to correct this problem, including changing to fresh alkaline batteries, have been unsuccessful. In sum, I do not think this is a quality, reliable product and cannot recommend it to other potential buyers. This item was at the low end of the price range for intervalometers. If you're looking for a cost-effective, reliable multi-function timer remote controller for your camera, look elsewhere and pay a few more dollars. I will. Buy once, cry once.

It works well for shutter release
I just wanted a corded shutter release for the Z9 and it works well. Maybe I will get into the other functions in the future.

Works great
Works as advertised, and is very easy to use. I purchased both the Canon and Nikon versions. The price is also great.
