Edit: after posting the review below, the seller sent me a new part that has been re-engineered to fix the week part. The new part works perfectly. And the seller never contacted me, they just fixed the problem. Fantastic customer service! Changing review from 2-star to 5-star.Old: The part that holds the iPad attaches to the base using just one little tiny screw. This screw easily detaches from the soft plastic with a small amount of torque, which renders the entire unit unusable. If you plan to use this with a child, think twice. Our 6 yr old broke this mount within two days of very normal use. If the provider fixes this one major design flaw, the product would be excellent and I would give it a 5-star review.

I wish it had an arm that extended to the center of the car so both kids could watch. This was the only model that for my car.

After trying a few products out there, this one is the best for the unique headrests of Volvos! Fits both iPads and Fire tablets. I love the range of motion and how easy it is to take the tablets in and out. It does stick out a bit far from the seat back so I’m worried one of my kids will snag and break it but hasn’t happened yet. Works as intended and seems high quality.Full disclosure - I just got these so haven’t put it to a full road trip test yet - so may revise this review. If I haven’t - they held up.

I use it to hold my phone while shutting my kiddo to daycare and back while he's chatting with his grandparents. It does hold the phone, that's the good. It makes all kinds of noises that make my brand new Volvo sound like a cheap old salvage car, that's the bad. And then there's the ugly. I need to keep tightening up those two bolts that losen up all the time.

Solid product. It would be great for my Volvo XC90 if my child was forward facing. This device configuration only works if you’re mounting on the back of a seat, not the front of the seat. I’m returning since my child isn’t even a year old and will be rear facing for some time.

This is a really nice solution for mounting a tablet or phone to the headrest if your car is not equipped from the factory with the rear seat entertainment setup, you don’t want to spend thousands and already have a couple of tablets. I can’t comment on the durability issues others have mentioned, but these seem well made and support 5th gen iPad Airs in slim case without issue. The mounting screws are long creating a solid connection to the seat and the mount feels secure when installed. So far, very happy with the purchase!
