i bought this basically for a cute red accessory for my black & white kitchen. Love the small size to make smaller waffles & great for making fun layered desserts & grilled sandwiches .

Although...i don't know if there are risk factors in the coating of this little grill...but, I Love this!!! if you live by yourself ..get this...you can make a grilled cheese in a couple of min...it is so cute and works well..little but mighty..no off/on switch but i don't care..plug it in...for about a minute..soon as it heats..i put an egg on it...cooks the egg fast...if you like eggs that aren't runny.you can lift the egg off the grill even without a spatula...it's a hoot

Works and I use it no complaints

grills very nicely but it's hard to clean - grease builds up. even after trying to get all organic matter removed can't get all of it and then next use it burns the meat before meat is cooked. best used for panini and sandwiches

Great for cooking a single burger

I paid for a NEW grill but received a DIRTY, USED grill. This was my Mother's Day present to myself. GRRRRRRRR! If I was going to gift this to someone else, I would have returned it. It obviously came from the reduced in price, returned pile. I DID NOT get a reduced price, but I paid FULL price. I have many Dash products (which I love) so I know how absolutely delightful Dash packaging can be. I have always been impressed. This grill came in a damaged box. The grill was greasy, the cord was unwrapped and the electrical prongs did not come with that little plastic protector thingy on them. There was no plastic bag protecting the grill, and the grill was just jammed in the beaten up box. HOWEVER, returning things to Amazon is somewhat of a pain even though I do congratulate them on making it fairly easy and smooth under the circumstances. So, I swallowed my irritation and decided to clean up this little grill (it was all greasy) and give it a go. It heated up like a champ and grilled my small sandwich beautifully. I love the char lines. I like this little grill very much and am glad to add it to my small collection of Dash appliances. I have a tiny kitchen and I find it easier to store these great Dash gems in their boxes so they can stack on top of each other. So, I will put put this cute little pink grill back in its beat up box, and store it with its Dash family. BTW, the recipe book and Foodie paper were also in the box, but they, too, had been just crammed in the damaged box and were bent up. Sigh.

Wow I am using the heck out of this little guy, I love it, it is so handy!- as a doggie momma, most meals I cook are ones that I can share with my furbabies. So when I want garlic and onions in my meals (which I usually do) I can just use this guy to cook them separately and add to my own bowl, keeping the main dish doggie safe for sharing.- as someone who pays attention to portion control, this 4" grill makes the perfect-sized pancakes and sweets to fit into my diet (by diet I mean general healthy eating habits, not fad diet) overdosing on carbs- as my animals age I can use this to soften their fave veggie treats of carrots and broccoli which are now a bit too crunchy in the raw for my little dog's teeth, without have to whip out the frying pan.- I love to make a big pot of soup, and then I use this little guy to grill up a plant protein patty (I'm vegetarian) to add to my bowl, without putting it in the main soup pot where it might get mushy over the 2-3 days that my big soup pots last.I wasn't sure I would use it a lot, but I am. Definitely a great buy for the price and a handy item to have in the kitchen. Especially great for smaller kitchens without a lot of space, for people who want easy portion control, and for people cooking for one.

I will never make this mistake again! I didn't open the box until after the return date, and the mini grill was broken! The whole top fell off, exposing all the wires inside. It was not repairable nor useable. I had to throw it in the trash. I was so disappointed; my money was wasted. From now on I will always open the box as soon as I receive an item that I've purchased to make sure the item isn't broken!
