Needed a hood for the kit lens I am taking on vacation. This seems to fit perfectly.

For the price it’s very good. Works great for my Nikon 55mm lens . It locks in with a snap and secures it but is easy to twist off when you need to. Great for helping protect your lens and is good quality. It’s a hard plastic so if you accidentally sit or put a lot of weight on it while off the lens it will probably crack but when on it will provide very adequate protection and shade. Highly recommend for 55mm.

I bought the wrong one. Only fits the af-p version. I have af-s which Doesn’t fit Too loose and won’t lock on.

This product does the job it was made for which is to block the sun and facilitate taking more clear pictures without glare. However, on of the things that sold me on this item was that I could reverse it and store it on the camera when it wasn't in use but after using it only a few times a bit of the plastic chipped. The item is still usable and I am glad I made this purchase. Two things to keep in mind is that when you first attach the hood it will be a bit stiff but to attach it properly you should turn it until it clicks. The second is that you MUST make sure that it fits the specific model lens you have

I put the original lens hood in the recycle bin a year or so ago. Then a couple weeks ago I found out I needed a lens hood to improve landscape images. This one works perfect. Thank You!

This one did not fit my Nikon D500, must be made for other cameras.

Product is what it was supposed to be. The box however was crushed. No harm to the item though.

Light but sturdy material, fits well and performs as expected. Good value for the money.

The plastic is a bit flimsy but it works
