My nephew app salutely loved this for Christmas, He literally wanted to do every one of them the night that he opened it. However the little hammer included was not very helpful. So we had to use an actual hammer which took a lot more adult supervision for a 5 year old Which was not exactly the goal. But it was a really fun little project for us to do together and I would buy them again because it was a great value for the money.

I bought for my daughter for Easter. She loved it. Sat for almost 2 hours. It is a little messy but I put on a cookie sheet or you can do outside. Nice little smooth gems, about the size of a buckle or a little bigger.

I purchased this for my 8 year old granddaughter because she loves “gems”! Fun to unlock each block’s surprise and to find an adorable shiny stone. Comes with picture cards that explain each gem and it’s origin and little tools. It does take a while to dig out each stone so not immediate gratification but she loves it! Fabulous buy for the money!
