She is a superb writer. I read several of her books now and they are always suspenseful. You never know until the very end who did it!!

On the edge of my seat
I was hooked right away when I read the first chapter. Quite a lot of twists and turns, kept me on the edge of my seat. Then the ending knocked me off my feet! I didn’t see that coming a mile away. Good read and I absolutely recommend.

#abrknpoet reviews See It End
See It End is the third instalment in the Dr. Gretchen White series, a thrilling and suspenseful psychological crime novel by Brianna Labuskes. The protagonist, Gretchen, is a criminologist, psychologist and sociopath who helps the Boston Police Department solve complex cases. In this book, she faces a personal dilemma when her friend and colleague, Detective Lauren Marconi, is arrested for a cold-blooded murder that she confesses to. Gretchen is convinced that Lauren is innocent, but she has to work with Lauren’s boyfriend, Lachlan Gibbs, an Internal Affairs officer who doesn’t trust her. As they dig deeper into the case, they uncover Lauren’s dark secrets and a decade-long obsession with the victim. Gretchen begins to question her own instincts and judgement, while trying to save Lauren from a grim fate.I enjoyed this book very much, as it kept me hooked from the first page to the last. The plot was well-crafted and full of twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end. The characters were complex and realistic, each with their own flaws and motivations. I especially liked Gretchen, who was a fascinating and unconventional heroine. She was smart, witty and ruthless, but also vulnerable and loyal to her friends. Her sociopathic traits added an extra layer of intrigue and unpredictability to the story. The writing style was crisp and engaging, with vivid descriptions and sharp dialogue. The author did a great job of creating a tense and atmospheric setting that suited the dark tone of the story.I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good psychological thriller with a strong female lead and a gripping mystery. It can be read as a standalone, but I would suggest reading the previous books in the series first to get a better understanding of Gretchen’s background and personality. See It End is a brilliant and satisfying conclusion to the Dr. Gretchen White series, and I hope to read more from this talented author in the future.

Absolutely Outstanding
I read nothing but suspense books and this series has been ridiculously good, with the third in the series just blowing my mind. The amount of twists and turns while navigating the unique personalities made for non-stop page turning action.

I can't get enough of her books! This trilogy was incredible! She weaves a story like no one else! Her characters are fascinating especially Dr White when is a known sociopath who knows how to curb her inner desires! I loved Marconi also, I love their banters with each other knowing just how far they could push each other! Who will Gretchen work w now????

Riveting
Lots of twists and turns. Labuskes always keeps me guessing. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 , because I couldn't make sense of the time lines. Was Julia Owen's kid? What was the age gap between these kids? And when did these bodies get buried at the orchard, crawl space, if Owen didn't kill them but they died while they still lived there? Those inconsistent facts made it hard to follow.

Must review
Despite being super busy, I took every extra chance I had to read this book. I really enjoyed the first 2 in this series. I’m not sure why I waited so long to read this book. Maybe because I wasn’t ready for the end. As far as I can tell, this is just going to be a trilogy and that makes me super sad. There doesn’t seem much left for Dr Gretchen White to do, especially since she doesn’t have many contacts left at the police department.I really loved how this book progressed. It was alternating viewpoints AND timelines. Up until the timelines met. There were so many different theories on what happened, that I didn’t really see it coming until it was revealed. I both listened to and read this book. When that part was revealed, my mouth dropped open and I said ‘oh sh!t’ out loud. I love that this author can keep me on the edge of my seat and guessing right up until the end.Speaking of end…..I wish it had gone a little differently. But I could also read about these characters for the next decade. Since there won’t be another Dr Gretchen White book, I will be moving on to the new series by Brianna Labuskes. She has become one of my fave authors.

My third Brianna Lanuskes novel
Love a good read, with unpredictable twists that I can't see in advance. Struggle, though with the past and present of the main characters, story lines and additional characters to muddy my mind. However, it's a good read that will keep you wondering, until the bitter end.I might go back to a predictable, entertaining author like Fern Michaels or Danielle Steel, so my brain can relax and just be entertained.
