It's okay
This gel did provide some pain relief, just not as much as I've experienced with other brands. The scent dissipates quickly though and is easy to rub in. Overall I can't complain

"A more natural pain rub that does work"...
My reality is that I have grade 3 OA (osteoarthritis of the knees). I have been able to manage the pain and the majority of the time almost control the pain via an anti-inflammatory diet, supplements (turmeric w/black pepper, ginger, Quercetin w/bromelain) and pain rubs. I avoid NSAID drugs and have not had to go to them soon after being diagnosed a couple years back. Recently my pain was into the moderate but in the past couple of weeks I used my supplements to get it back mostly to light with a lean into moderate at times. The REVIEW:SNIFF -- menthol; moderately strong or a tad moreTEXTURE -- gel; off white colored; hot sticky; not a heavy consistencyAPPEARANCE -- off-white color in a more loose gel form; not firmINGREDIENTS -- I like the natural products listed especially Arnica and have had good success with it in the past on a variety of injuries. When it is blended with other useful anti-inflammatory ingredients I tend to like it even more for my needs.RESULTS/RELIEF --DAY ONE: I used it on a day where my OA knee pain symptoms were LIGHT with a gentle lean towards moderate. There was a tingling, cooling and numbing sensation felt almost immediately. It got me through the last couple hours of my shift without any issues and allowed me to have good mobility.DAY TWO: Knee pain symptoms were leaning even more towards MODERATE. The numbing and tingling was moderately strong or more and lasted a good while but by 2.5 hours in this part of the rub was gone essentially and likely faded gradually after 1.5 hours. At the 2.5 hour mark there was a light bit of the "arthritis burn" coming back but it was not impacting my movements. I like that the tingling and numbing lasts more than many prior rubs I have tried.I may run another test on a day when I spend even more time on the floor walking and standing to fully put it to the test. But so far, I can say it does work for me.

Temporary Pain relief
This smells and feels like the menthol lozenges, except on your skin, joints and muscles. I did a dive on the ground and strained my wrist. About 15 minutes after application, I felt pain relief which didn’t come back til a few hours later. It has a tendency to dispense a lot at a time, which is fine, as you need to apply generously to get it working. The only downside is that you walk around smelling like menthol candy.

Very liquidy, it squirts out FAST!
I try all the pain relievers I can get my hands on since I have bad arthritis. I use one that is mostly arnica Montana that does help more than others so when I saw that this has Arnica Montana I scooped it up. It does help temporarily to ease my pain. The problem is that it's way too thin to be dispensed from a tube, ALOT comes out no matter how I try to be careful. This would be a product I would purchase if it came in a roll-on because it does help and has a milder scent than most menthol pain relievers.

Nice cooling sensation, very thin
This pain relieving gel has a very thin consistency to it. Because it is so thin, I have a hard time not dispensing too much of it. If you are accustomed to using a pain relief cream that comes in this type of tube, you are likely to squeeze out far more than you actually need. I think this would be much better in one of the roll top bottles.Aside from that problem though, this gel provides a very nice cooling sensation. It has 5% menthol in it, which is common among these types of products, but this seems to take effect faster than others I have tried, and with a stronger cooling effect.Overall I really like this gel, but I am disappointed every time I squeeze too much out into my hand. It would be a 5 star product if not for that.

Similar to Icy hot
Main ingredient is menthol so similar to other products in this category. I like roll on normally because it is easier but this squeeze tube works well. It's smell is average-- again, very similar to like products. It is made in the USA so if you like that, this is a great choice. I have been using it on my shoulder. It works well. It staves off pain for awhile. Not a miracle cure but certainly makes pain go away for a bit. Overall, quite typical relief for products in this category.

Cooling menthol gel
This gel has a nice menthol scent, and a nice cooling menthol effect. I suspect the majority of the pain relief effect might be from the cooling. We did apply this to a painful ankle, injured from sports activities, and did not really appreciate a significant pain relief, though I am not sure how much we should have expected. The scent is pleasant, it is soothing to apply this, and the cooling effect may be soothing as well.
